Recent Oregon Reviews

This is the one!

5 of 5
My husband and I (and our dog) have been making regular trips to the Oregon Coast (Cannon Beach/Manzanita area) for the past several years. We've stayed in a variety of hotels and houses. This is definitely the house we will come back to. The house itself is very comfortable and has everything you need, but it's made even more comfortable by the attitude of the owner, who really seems to want you to feel at home and not live in fear of accidentally breaking something. We invited a couple of family members to stay and still had privacy due to the layout of the house. We did a lot of baking, for which the kitchen was well-equipped. We got chairs out of the garage and took them to the beach to sit and watch sunsets. We had long chats around the well-used dining room table. We appreciated the high ceilings, lighting (lamps and candles), and lack of TV. The only thing I would change is the amount of time I plan to stay next time.

The perfect winter spot!

5 of 5
This was the perfect spot for a winter get away for two adults and two kids. We were close enough to everything that it was not a worry getting any where. The property was absolutely beautiful and the house was exactly as described. The sights and smells were a perfect greeting for two parents looking for a relaxing get away. We were able to pull up and start unloading quite easily which allowed us to feel right at home very quickly. In addition to this the kids settled right in, which made it much easier. The length of our stay made it easier to cook in the kitchen, which was very usable, as well as get used to every aspect of the cabin. The kids couldn't wait to come back, which is a recommendation we don't hear very often. If you're looking for a nice little bungalow to get away to, or a comfortable cabin for a week or so, this is the place to stay.

Trip to remember

5 of 5
We went to Newport on a whim for both my boys' birthday (turned 7&9) had no reservations and went on what was apparently a busy booked weekend!! Called quite a few places that sort of chuckled, at my 'spontaneous vacation!' I seen this profile and called Tracy (no travel agency which was nice!) and he was so nice. Noticed the last renters had recently left his rental and immediately called the cleaners and had the house finished for us and our birthday boys to 'move in' in just a few hours! Not only was he considerate with times for us and our kids, he checked in throughout the vacation to make sure we were enjoying our time and didn't need anything! Not to mention the VIEWS!!!! When too windy and cold to go to the beach we just looked out the windows and could even hear the ocean! AMAZING!!! Again Tracy, I thank you, the vacation was so needed and defiantly you helped our family more than you know!!! For sure will stay again when going towards Newport!
