A cozy stay in a great neighborhood

4 of 5
I want to preface this review with a big thanks to Susan for being so accommodating to our ever changing schedule. My sister and two cousins had flown in from the East Coast for an Oregon Coast drive. We had spent a few days in Astoria and when I spoke with Susan to give an estimated arrival time in Portland, I greatly overestimated our roll out and drive time. I called her the next day to say we'd be arriving about 3 hours earlier than my previous guess. Despite recovering from knee surgery, Susan was finishing her final flat preparations when we rolled into the neighborhood. The place was immaculate and there were sparkling white wine, fresh baked cookies and a gift certificate to a local restaurant waiting for us.Thanks for the wonderful welcome! Sellwood one of many terrific Portland neighborhoods, with local al fresco dining, coffee shops aplenty and a great natural foods grocery store just a few blocks away from our flat. The Lexie House was cozy...small but comfy living room with a futon, double bedroom with a small single just behind. The kitchen is small but clean and well stocked with an adjacent pantry/laundry room. The bathroom is roomy, clean and also well stocked with clean linens, shampoo, hair dryer and first aid supplies, should you need them. The back deck has a grill and patio furniture. We had a very comfortable stay and had everything we needed for meals, morning coffee and evening relaxation. Staying at Lexie House was a lovely part of our Portland visit.

Amazing, amazing, Amazing !!

The penthouse was everything it was described to be and then some. Beautiful in every way with all the amenities you could want for a special and relaxing stay. We will definitely keep it on our re-visit list!!! Have already recommended the penthouse to friends. Thanks Melinda for your gracious hospitality.

Talk about a Room With a View!!

5 of 5
My husband and I uttered only one word when we walked into our new "home" in Portland...Wow! Everything was a crisp clean white with touches of ocean blue. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and totally modernized...seating for 4 in the dining area and a sofa that makes into a bed along with 2 comfy easy chairs. There is a small patio which you can reach either by the living room or the bedroom with 2 chairs and a small table, a perfect place to have my coffee in the am and my wine at night. Bathroom was updated with 2 vanities and a double shower stall. The bedroom was large and had room darkening shades to assist us in sleeping in and having a wonderful R&R. The closet was so large that we used it as a dressing room. The property comes with a dedicated parking spot in a much coveted area of Portland in the RiverWalk area. I have mobility issues and really loved having the elevator which is a must for me. If you Are a walker, there is no place better than this area to get yours steps in! With my daughter and a new granddaughter living in Portland I'm planning on making this my personal home away from home and will feel more than comfortable staying here alone when my husband can't make it...a very secure facility. Paul was a delight and answered any questions immediately...it really is a lovely spot!
