Beautiful and Inviting

5 of 5
This was our second time renting the fabulous "elevator house!" Nick and Lynn provided over-the-top customer service; every time I had a question they were very responsive and exceedingly helpful. Though we've never met Nick and Lynn, they made us feel like family because of how hospitable and wiling they were to make our stay the best. The house itself has a great floor plan with all bedrooms being on the lower levels and the top level offering spectacular panoramic views. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all VERY nice, but my favorite aspect of the house is the kitchen/living room space. Great kitchen-makes you actually want to cook! And the spaces have been thoughtfully designed to have many different places for smaller groups to congregate. Last time we rented this house it was because we had an elderly family member staying with us, and the elevator was very convenient for her. This time, we rented again even though it was all younger people and we didn't' need the elevator..but it was VERY nice to not have to lug suitcases and food up two flights of stairs. The elevator came in handy both times! If you're considering renting this house for an elderly family member you should know that there are a few steps they must climb to get up to the house before they can enjoy the elevator. Thank you for providing such a wonderful option of a place to stay! We will definitely be returning soon!!!

Exactly what we needed!

5 of 5
We stayed in July 2012. We combined the occasion of a family reunion with my daughter's honeymoon. We got a great deal on the Blue Rose next door. This property was perfect. I had all of my dogs. I was able to host my daughter and grandbaby, my other daughter and her friend, and myself and my husband. The property is clean, the beds are comfortable, and the view is SPECTACULAR! We had wonderful lazy days laying on the deck and cooking in the very comfortable kitchen. Tillamook is close by for excellent cheese and the home is lovely and comfortable. The only thing I would advise is that it's 98 steps to the beach, down a very steep hill and fairly rough terrain, even for seasoned Oregonians.
