Our family stayed at this wonderful home during spring break. The home is very clean and has a wonderful kitchen. There are two bedrooms on the bottom floor and a master bedroom on the top floor with plenty of beds for a large family gathering. The wifi signal was strong and allowed us to bring all our conveniences from home.
Netarts is a wonderful place to stay. Although it was spring break, the beaches were not crowded and were were able to go clamming during low tide and then make our own clam chowder. It rained during much of our stay, but we were able to find a window of a couple hours every day where the sun shone and we were able to go beach combing. There is also a lot of hiking trails and beautiful hidden beaches on the way to Cape Mears. There are tons of sea life if you go through the tunnel at Oceanside and comb the beach on the other side; tons of starfish and we even saw sun fish. This is the most sea life I've ever seen on the Oregon Coast.
The house is conveniently located and has an indirect view of the bay from the back porch, which is fabulous for grilling or just drinking your morning coffee. The house is not right on the beach, but on a hill above the bay. This was o.k. with me, since I have an almost irrational fear of tidal waves and prefer to be a little higher up on the rocks. I definitely plan on coming back to this beautiful house on the bay.
