FUN TIME IN NETARTS OVER SPRING BREAK

5 of 5
The house is very well taken care of and clean. The view from the living room and kitchen of Netarts Bay and the ocean is great. The weather was frequently rainy during our stay, but we had a good time playing games and watching the view. We went to Cape Meares and Cape Lookout parks. Both have several things worth seeing, and Cape Lookout has some great trails. Our 3 nights went by way too quickly.

VERY CLEAN, SPACIOUS, AND COMFORTABLE

5 of 5
Our family stayed at this wonderful home during spring break. The home is very clean and has a wonderful kitchen. There are two bedrooms on the bottom floor and a master bedroom on the top floor with plenty of beds for a large family gathering. The wifi signal was strong and allowed us to bring all our conveniences from home. Netarts is a wonderful place to stay. Although it was spring break, the beaches were not crowded and were were able to go clamming during low tide and then make our own clam chowder. It rained during much of our stay, but we were able to find a window of a couple hours every day where the sun shone and we were able to go beach combing. There is also a lot of hiking trails and beautiful hidden beaches on the way to Cape Mears. There are tons of sea life if you go through the tunnel at Oceanside and comb the beach on the other side; tons of starfish and we even saw sun fish. This is the most sea life I've ever seen on the Oregon Coast. The house is conveniently located and has an indirect view of the bay from the back porch, which is fabulous for grilling or just drinking your morning coffee. The house is not right on the beach, but on a hill above the bay. This was o.k. with me, since I have an almost irrational fear of tidal waves and prefer to be a little higher up on the rocks. I definitely plan on coming back to this beautiful house on the bay.

GREAT LOCATION WITH NO WHOLE LOT OF TOURISTS.

5 of 5
We stayed in this clean and homey beach house for 6 days. The location is perfect as it sits in the bay where all crabbing and clamming activities are taking place. Next door Netarts Bay RV camp office is very resourceful if you want to try out catching some live crabs and have them for lunch or dinner. The restaurant, Schooners, in the bay has fantastic meals and views from the patio.Around the corner from the Bay there is a general store on Crab Ave. selling cheap fresh oysters!! Magnificent Oceanside beach is just 5~10 min drive away. The beach has to be about 5 miles long. I haven't seen a beautiful beach like that since South Wales, Australia! Tilamook which is 15 min away has Safeway (grocery store) and all other attractions (cheese factories with free tasting). I couldn't ask more for the location. The house was very clean, spacious and had wi-fi and satelite TVs to occupy our kids. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, even condiments. It was nice to come out to the deck in the morning, have a coffee and enjoy the view of the bay. We may go back next year with another family as we had such a great time! Highly recommended if you are into a bunch of activities during your vacation.
