Great Family Ski House Close To Hood Meadows

5 of 5
Awesome House! My wife and I and a few friends took a ski trip out to Hood Meadows and stayed here. The house is only 25 minutes from meadows. At the end of the first day we were soaked and so grateful to not have to drive all the way back to Portland. The house is way bigger than the pictures show. Three big bedrooms, breakfast nook, dining room and two living rooms with so many couches. One of the couches is a futon that turns into a fourth bed. The kitchen is huge and well stocked. Take my advice. Hit the slopes then come back to the house, make some dinner and grab some brews while you rest up to head back out for more snow the next day!

Mini family vacation to Skibowl

4 of 5
2 adults and 3 kids stayed comfortably in this home. We opted to bring a queen air mattress verses the use of sleeper sofa. There was plenty of space for it in living room. We didn't use outdoor hot tub or venture outdoors. The home suited our needs for a place to rest after a long couple of days at the mountain. We enjoyed the cabin feel and the toasty fireplace.

Fantastic On Every Level

5 of 5
One of the best vacation rentals we've ever had, I give Dana and her cabin my highest endorsment. We had 9 adults out for a few night on the mountain, and it was WAY more than enough room. There are actually two complete living rooms with entertainment systems, so we were even able to watch separate movies. The kitchen was well supplied (could have used some garlic powder, but they literally had everything else), the check in and entry was simple, everything was clean comfortable and extremely tasteful. I could tell that this was THIER vacation home, not one that they just purchased to rent out. Now, here's the extra mile. Not only did Dana work with us when we decided to stay another day, she's even mailing back our pillows that we accidentally left at the cabin. Over all, it was a perfect 10, the location added to our adventure, and we'll be back. We may even make it an annual trip!
