WOWZZERS!!!!

5 of 5
WOWZZERS!! Such a super place!!! Our 3 generational family get-a-way at The Prince McKenzie Home was amazing!!! There was sooooo much space & sooooo much beauty! The yard is amazing! A river view, room for a "pup tent fort", games for adults, lots of running, laughing and jumping area all around with Still more area for bubbles, a fit pit and and and more..... Yet safe distance (for little ones) from the river. The 1st place, our adult sons headed to upon arriving was the river. Within moments our grandson had a fish on!!! A granddaughter caught a fish with her 1st cast! To many fish to count were caught! :-) As we watched the kids, down river about a hundred feet, we hear a loud splash. What was that, we ask? Then, an Osprey raises from the river with a fish in his talons! WOW!!! The Osprey came to feed several times a day. So neat, real life nature in the back yard!!! The grandkids played in the water, their Dad's fished, as us ole folk enjoyed it all! Traditions of a nightly "camp fires", complete with Dutch Oven Peach Cobbler and Hand cracked ice cream were made, as the sounds of the river flow just behind us. So special and peaceful!!! Most of our time was spent outside playing enjoy this wonderful yard. We hardly left "The Prince Park". The house is very well stocked! Over the years of going to different place, we've learned to take a few things, such as a wine bottle opener, can opener, nice skillet for cooking eggs and a pancake griddle. ALL of the items were left in the car because Charles and Kelly provided all needed items our family to borrow! A Complete Kitchen!!! Loved it!!! The beds are great! Ours was so comfy, "Poppa" even said one morning: I don't think I even moved! :-) The decks are great! The lower open air deck, was a huge favorite lunch, snack and game spot, (when they sat quiet for a few minutes). The upper covered deck/porch was a favorite for art projects and a last night "dance party"! Beautiful and comfortable! There are areas of the home that can be closed off so little grandchildren, can nap and not be bothered by noise from the rest! Great feature!!! The upstairs apartment is a fantastic feature --- The "late nighters" can stay up, play cards, enjoy an adult beverage, even cook, laugh and not wake the little ones. Super plan!!! WOWZZERS, almost describes this amazing place!!! We Will be back!!! (We've never said that of any other VRBO Property we've visited.) LOVED IT!!! Thank you Charles & Kelly!

AMAZING & WONDERFUL PLACE FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION!

5 of 5
We came for Valentine’s Day and found our hearts’ delight… a perfect getaway. The cabin is amazing for its lovely solitude, river sights & sounds, and general comfort level. It is spacious and quietly elegant without being pretentious. I even marveled at the craftsmanship and quality materials throughout. The kitchen is gorgeous and well-equipped; the dining area and living room are all inviting and cozy; and the bedrooms offer soft natural light, muffled and soothing river sounds, and lovely beds and mattresses. You’ll find it easy to take that long winter’s nap. The location would be hard to beat, about an hour up the lovely McKenzie Valley from Eugene, in a location rich in environmental aesthetics. The cabin sits near the banks of the river, close upon the Belknap Bridge, and walking distance from good local restaurants and a general store. Hiking trails begin almost at the driveway. But the best part may well be that you don’t have to be ambitious to enjoy a special occasion here. Bring a book, your journal or something to write, kick off your shoes, and allow Belknap cabin to work its special quiet magic. You will not be disappointed.
