Family Fun

5 of 5
This cabin is so cozy and is in a beautiful setting. It was enjoyed by all, from age 91 to 2 years old! We spent many hours next to the wood burning fire and our kids played us old songs on the player piano. The game cabinet is filled with board games and our kids didn't even ask to watch the TV provided. We cooked, BBQ'd, and walked down the river and collected shells. We already want to come back and stay again. Good family memories were made here!

Everything you could ever need for a vacation rental and more

5 of 5
We have rented this property 3 times now, so you can imagine the fact that we are repeat renters says it all. First of all, the house is beautiful and obviously crafted with love. It is located in a gorgeous part of Grants Pass up on a hill nestled between trees and pastures. The scenery is so beautiful you could stay on the property the entire vacation and never grow tired of the sites (in fact, we did do that one year and had a blast). It is always the same group of people, 3 families (6 adults and 4 children), but for some reason the layout of the house is so well thought out that we never seem crowded. We cooked all of our meals and the house is stocked with whatever cooking utensil you could ever need, from plates to glasses to pots and pans. One night we decided to make a cake and needed a springform cake pan, and guess what, they had 2 of them! Then we decided to make the kids popcorn and guess what, they had an old timey popcorn popper! The only thing i could say this house needs is sharper knives and a sponge for washing dishes. I would recommend this property for anyone, as it has something for every disposition. Peace and quite? Check. Close to wineries? Check. A room filled with videos and games for children and adults? Check. Close to downtown? Mostly check, but hey, who needs to go downtown when you're at the Woodland?

Far from the Maddening Crowd...

5 of 5
My three weeks spent at Whisper Canyon Ranch was just what I needed. As a new widow the calm, serenity and lovely surrounding gave birth to new live for me. The staff was very professional, and gave me room to grieve, but encouraged me to venture out at times. Top of the Mart experrience!
