rejuvenating experience

5 of 5
The cottage was so fully equipped that all we needed was some fresh food--fish/meat/veggies/breads to whip up meals (bring foil/plastic wrap/bags if you use them). Great back yard, wonderful front porch, tables and chairs in various places in and out of the charming cottage--and TV/DVD and lots of DVDS for the dark, starry nights. Location was perfect starting point each morning for John Day, the Fossil beds, the Painted Hills. This is not a five star hotel--it's a six star self-catering cottage. A bonus--terrific breakfast in the little town if you do not want to make your own (but those farm fresh eggs beckon). Directions to the cottage were spot on, Aruna was very responsive via email prior to the visit; everything was better than I anticipated. We stayed in the smaller of the two houses (one bedroom and a futon in the living room) and a larger family might want to rent both cottages. Beautiful area of Oregon to explore and return to.

Cozy and Beautiful

5 of 5
My husband and I simply loved our stay at your beautiful cottage. From the moment we set foot into this little oasis we feel the calming effect of the beautiful garden, birds singing, and all seems tranquil and relaxed. Everything you would ever need is right there-- from DVDs, games and books, to fresh eggs in the fridge. I can't recommend this place enough for a weekend get away or a longer vacation.

OMG! Totally awesome!

Wow! Our family had a wonderful and very exciting vacation! Such a breath taking adventure with a rural setting and so close to the boat ramp! So loved the peaceful deck, sipping our coffee! Family time is a must and this was the perfect spot! Thanks bunches Jessica! We will be back next year!
