The Wee Cottage

4 of 5
Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was clean. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The description of the home in the ad was very accurate. Cozy, very good location and nicely appointed. The only negatives were that we arrived, even though the place appeared to have been pretty thoroughly cleaned, there were visible cob webs throughout (on the ceiling, in the corners, on the window sills and on the stair cases. We cleaned them away immediately. Also, the heaters in the bathroom and the storage area were not working but the heaters in the kitchen and bedroom sufficed. Overall, it is a very cute "wee" house very close to the beach on a quiet street and we enjoyed our stay. Additionally, the woman I dealt with when booking, whose name is Delana I believe, made the booking experience a pleasure.

Exactly what we needed!

5 of 5
We stayed in July 2012. We combined the occasion of a family reunion with my daughter's honeymoon. We got a great deal on the Blue Rose next door. This property was perfect. I had all of my dogs. I was able to host my daughter and grandbaby, my other daughter and her friend, and myself and my husband. The property is clean, the beds are comfortable, and the view is SPECTACULAR! We had wonderful lazy days laying on the deck and cooking in the very comfortable kitchen. Tillamook is close by for excellent cheese and the home is lovely and comfortable. The only thing I would advise is that it's 98 steps to the beach, down a very steep hill and fairly rough terrain, even for seasoned Oregonians.

Wonderful place to stay!

5 of 5
My family and I had a great time spending the days driving up and down the coast and walking up and down the beach in front of our cottage. There were always other people enjoying the sand and the water, but there was such an expansive amount of useable beach, that nobody was a bother to anyone else. There were so many beautiful pull outs along the coast, that it took us 2 days to actually reach the Sea Lion Caves an hour and 40 minutes away. It was so relaxing to be able to enjoy dinner on the back deck overlooking the ocean and then enjoy the hot tub too. It was an unexpected pleasure to receive a call on our arrival day from your local Manager Randy who was available for assistance if we needed. The parking was just as you explained and with a bigger suv, we just drove up to the side of the house and backed into the front parking spot-it worked perfect for us. Everything was clean and met our expectations. The weather was perfect the entire 4 days we spent here (it was rainy before we arrived and rainy again after we left). We got the chance to eat shrimp and homemade clam chowder at the local pier restaurant Mo's and it was fabulous. We would recommend this house and this town to anyone who wants a beautiful, relaxing coastal town to visit. And, we will definitely come back to use your cottage to visit again.
