Fantastic View, great location

4 of 5
This was a great getaway for the two of us. We stayed 5 nights and each day was better than the last. We walked in at sunset the first night and immediately spent a few hours with a bottle of wine on the deck watching the sun set and jumping into the hot tub....didn't even unpack first. The kitchen had everything we needed and the living room was cozy and well suited to enjoy the view. The fireplace made a nice ambiance and warmed the space adequately. The king size bed was comfortable. Great location to make your way up to Gold Beach or down to Crescent City.... Minor things I would have liked.... * the pillows on the bed were extremely hard, but could be I'm just a soft pillow kinda girl * a queen size bed would be adequate and give some walking room in the bedroom...it was an extremely tight fit getting around or trying to get dressed in there. *know that you can see your neighbors on the deck and they see you and even into the living room if the time and angle are right ;) * the tv/cable was a bit of a challenge to get working...perhaps it was our unfamiliarity with the system, but read the directions...twice. Overall a great experience....we have already recommended it to several people and we plan on returning in the future.....

The Perfect Escape

5 of 5
My husband and I totally enjoyed our stay here. We came to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary and it was very relaxing. The cabin was very clean and the hot tub luxurious after a day strolling the beach. The cabin was well stocked with everything needed to feel like home. The description was accurate and we found it easily even though we arrived late and it was dark. The restaurant, close by, Nautical Inn, served delicious sea food. I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable place to watch the waves and enjoy the surf.
