My husband, son and I stayed at the Shack over Easter Weekend. First thing we noticed was how clean it was. The kitchen was fully stocked, pantry had items and there is even a washer and dryer (which came in handy with our little boy who loves to get dirty). The covered back porch is a huge bonus. It was an easy way to shed our wet and sandy duds before entering the house. It was sunny one day and it was super warm back there so we had a back porch picnic in the sunshine. Our son slept in a twin bed upstairs and we used the fold out couch so we could be close to him so he would not be going up and down the stairs at night alone for bathroom etc. There was even a few toys for him to play with. There are fun board games and puzzles too. It was really cold one day we were there and the fireplace did a great job of keeping us warm (HINT: Find the driest wood you can for maximum heat. We were able to buy wood and kindling at Ray's up on the 101). The best thing was how close it was to the beach! Very close to town too. We are going to bring our bikes next time so we can ride into Old Town instead of driving! Thank you for sharing your awesome Shack with us! We will be back for sure!
