Cozy and warm get away in cold February

5 of 5
What a great "home away from home" we had when we visited Niagara Falls in one of the coldest weeks of February. We were very cozy and warm and able to enjoy ourselves and get some much needed rest. The upper suite was very clean and just as described on the VRBO web site we found it on. Our daughter and son-in-law were able to join us for most of the week and there was ample room for us to enjoy each other. We were able to walk around the Falls even though it was extremely cold. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner in the revolving dining room at the Skylon Tower. Our visit was all we wanted it to be and was made complete by the warm welcome of Doug and Cora. They were very friendly and informative and thorough in showing us around the suite. Thanks again for a wonderful restful week in your lovely suite.

What a great location for our vaction!

5 of 5
Right from the moment I found this property on the web I had expectations - high expectations for a great stay and believe it or not they were exceeded when we arrived there and saw the accommodation. The view of the water brings a sense of tranquillity to the location. Close to the city but far enough away to feel like a cottage. Don't get me wrong - this is not a cottage! All the comforts of home were provided and we really couldn't think of a thing that was missing. We found enough kitchen equipment for the meals we wanted to prepare and even extra towels for swimming. High quality bedding and towels were appreciated. Our hosts were great and the property looks better than the photos on the web. Totally awesome - can't wait to get back again for a longer stay. S. Kelly Australia

50 th birthday celebration

5 of 5
Great choice for this family reunion of 3 generations. The owners are committed to hospitality and prepared the space for optimum convenience and enjoyment for both good weather and bad weather (wood stoves). A long table and buffet are set up in the large garage to seat everyone being served from the BBQ. The veranda was a popular hangout for the adults and the big family rooms for the teens. Having all the wood close to the fire pit was a nice feature. All the property is well cared for. We did get a bit disorientated on our hike, so perhaps the map could be updated. Thank you and we will be back!
