Clean, bright, spacious house near the beach!

5 of 5
Three weeks wasn't enough in this lovely updated cottage! The owners thought of everything to make our stay that much more enjoyable - they really go the distance in terms of providing comfort and maintaining the space - let alone being easy to communicate with from initial contact to post vacay, - available to answer every question and concern... even thru the tornado! This is the best cottage I've rented over the past 6 years. I couldn't believe how peaceful the house is, inside and out. A short walk to the best beach, close to a favorite resto (Fine) and the main strip, it's perfectly positioned. I especially appreciated the new kitchen appliances, low-flow toilets (eco-friendly home), awesome water pressure, over all cleanliness and how spacious it feels. The place is bigger in person than the pictures can show. Our eight year old said it best: "This isn't a cottage! It's a home!"

Finally, a nice place to stay in Grand Bend

4 of 5
We had a great stay overall. A few misunderstandings though. The owner met us an hour later than was planned, but readily agreed to let us stay an hour later upon departure. The house is really nice. It is nice to have a nice, clean, kept up rental to stay at in Grand Bend. It was Winter, so yes, our boots were wet when we were packing up stuff and carrying it out to our cars. We tried to do the best we could in cleaning up the wet snow, but apparently the owner was not pleased with this. I found it a little silly that she was threatening to with-hold out security deposit for this; which didn't end up happening. The house is in a nice area of town, and closet to everything. You couldn't ask for a better location. No cars, no cabs, just a short walk from everything.

Charming, casual comfort

4 of 5
This is our second year staying at this comfortable cozy cottage. We fit 3 couples and 3 children comfortably, with most of out time spent on the fabulous beach!! The cottage is quiet, private, casual and comfortable. A great place to cherish family and good friends!! The sunsets are unbeleivable with access to the prestine private Lake Huron beach. Nearby shopping, restaurants, golf and tourism makes this a fabulous easy summer vacation spot!!! See you next year!!
