Wonderful Thanksgiving Weekend

5 of 5
First of all, the property is even more impressive than the photos show. The view of the lake from all the floor-to-ceiling windows is breathtaking. The furnishings and decor in every room is comfortable, functional, and very tasteful. Our family of 9 adults traveled from 3 states to spend Thanksgiving together and the experience from the time we booked the trip until we locked the front door to go home was above and beyond what we even expected. The owner was more than willing to communicate with us (1st time VRBO renters) several times before hand, answering questions about the home and it's amenities. When we arrived, we were greeted by the caretaker who gave us the tour and left us with homemade cookies and jam. She checked on us (by text) a couple of times just to make sure we didn't need anything (which we didn't--nothing had been forgotten by our hosts) This home was the perfect size for our group. There were plenty of bedrooms and large baths, a large living area, kitchen with everything one might need to prepare large meals, and plenty of areas to get away and spread out Thanksgiving weekend is a great time to visit Grand Lake, and this home was a perfect place for us to spend time with family.
