I was nervous renting a house for vacation as I've never done so before.
My entire Family rejoiced that i did!
The house is located in a modest neighborhood and while not huge, has amenities I would normally associate with an executive home.
The bedrooms are enormous, delightfully and tastefully decorated. The beds were a dream of comfort and the sheets were some smooth fabric made from newly made clouds.
Ok. That's probably hyperbole but that's the way it felt.
the only thing that felt small was the tastefully appointed living room and yet, proved to be more than adequate for the 6 adults we began the weekend with and the 8 adults (my two college age daughters joined us Saturday night) that it became.
The deck/patio has 3 levels with as many seating areas, two of which have light/ceiling fan combos overhead. A large gas grill was provided and I served 20 people for a Friday night cookout where we invited my future son-in-law and his entire family burgers, brats, and hotdogs.
The children loved the game room, the pool, and the play-equipment in the yard.
Most of all we loved how we were able to spend so much time with each other when nothing was going on since we weren't relegated to separate hotel rooms, none of which had enough seating to accommodate us if we wanted to gather.
I met the owner and he aggressively inquired after any requests, issues, or improvements we might suggest. We had a few, none which did anything to lessen our experience.
All in all, a nearly perfect long weekend at the InterContinental Guest Home in Broken Arrow.
