The 3 sisters Get-together

4 of 5
Once a year my sisters and I try to get together across the states and spend a week enjoying each other's company. This year was especially hard since we had just lost our oldest sister in May. John and Ellen's little cottage proved to be the perfect choice. We rented the 2 bedroom side of the cottage. The unobstructed view of the lake was about 75 feet across the lawn, and could be seen from the living room. (There is no way down to the water) There were several chairs, a picnic table, swing, and hammock to enjoy on the lawn. The huge trees and squirrels were an added treat. The cottage was clean and neat. The little grocery store across the street was handy since we needed a few items. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful, but not interfering. We hope to go back next year if everyone's health allows it. Thanks John and Ellen for a peaceful week. Phyllis, Linda and Joan

Great Relaxing stay

5 of 5
The cottage ion your web site was where we stayed. We noticed the 50's theme through out. Thank goodness for the full sized refridge. The grounds are like out of a garden magazine. The beach is just the right size. The lake is kid friendly as the water is not too deep rt away. The best part was sitting in one of the vintage gliders, in the shade and still able to keep and eye on the kiddos. The town of Vermillion is charming offering a Soda Shop and various eateries. I would highly recommend this resort. Thank you Therese and Dave for a wonderful time

Very nice getaway cottage

4 of 5
If you're looking for luxury, move on. If you're looking for a down to earth cottage in a nice lake0side subdivision with a (smallish, but not crowded) community beach a block away, stay here. Dan is a very nice lessor - recently built a brand new REAL nice bathroom. Town of Vermilion is really nice - great shops and restaurants. Short walk (maybe 10 - 15 minutes) away; 2 minute drive. Vineyards around. Nice small lakeside town.
