Just what we needed...

5 of 5
This is the first time I've used VRBO and I looked for a couple of weeks to find a place that would be willing to negotiate a price due to us having a limited budget. With in a couple of email communications with Julie, the owner, she more then exceeded our expectations. Julie was quick to respond and happily answered any questions I had. This was not only a 'want' to take a vacation, yet a NEED to get away and relax. Tight finances didn't stop Julie from offering to help us out with pricing. The condo is as advertised; the community is quiet and friendly! Julie touched base to make sure we were settled in and to give suggestions on places to visit. There are also brochures in the condo to help with places of interest. We stayed the second week of September just as the fall weather settled in. Many hours were spent on the screened in back patio drinking our morning coffee, playing cards, and watching the many water fowl fly in and out of the marsh. It was simply beautiful! Our dog also loved it out on the porch as she was able to watch everything from all sides. With the sliding doors and windows open you could hear not only the wild life, but the waves of Lake Erie. It was very serene. The places we visited and would recommend are Marblehead lighthouse (Port Clinton), Maggee Marsh for an easy hike through some well decked trails and a swim for your 4 legged providing the algae isn’t a problem! While touring Sandusky we visited a Dairy called Toft. It was simply amazing! You will get your money’s worth in ice cream! We also utilized Oak Harbor’s golf course off of SR19. Lastly we visited Put-N-Bay our last day there (Via Miller’s fairy in Oak Harbor). All of these aside from Put-N-Bay were 30 minutes or less to drive too. For a quick meal for the pizza lovers, Porky’s Pizza Trof on SR2 and also at Wild Wings (restaurant-at the end of the condo complex) I would HIGHLY recommend them both. They both have GREAT pizza! I would highly recommend this condo and location to anyone reading this. Our experience was awesome all the way around. Thank you Julie and Jim for sharing such a lovely place. Blessed be during these next few months and I hope to revisit your condo next year! Warmest Regards, Lesley & Mark

Great Stay in this Beautiful Place

5 of 5
We stayed here over 4th of July and could not have had a better experience. Very easy check-in, condo had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend in Cincinnati. We had a car but decided to not use it much because we walked nearly everywhere we were visiting. We loved the huge table, modern kitchen, and amazing design of the loft. Looking forward to a return trip soon!

Hilltop Townhouse in Over the Rhine Area

4 of 5
My husband I, along with my sister, all enjoyed our stay in this 19th century townhouse with very cute updates. The location was very convenient midpoint to all our activities. Mostly we were in Cincinnati to go to Kings Island, but we also attended a couple of concerts at Riverbend, went to the zoo, and visited the Hofbrauhaus. The design of the stairwell leading to the basement and the colors in the kitchen were particularly to my liking. My husband and I loved the privacy and cooler temperatures that staying in the basement bedroom, or "The Dungeon" as he called it, afforded us after already spending several days of our vacation in a smaller condo near Cedar Point. The place could use a few more "loving touches" to make it a truly posh environment -- i.e. things that only matter to us higher-maintenance ladies -- but overall, the bedding and décor was very nice. We will definitely be looking this one up again next time we visit Cincinnati.
