No better place to stay in Hocking Hills

5 of 5
I cannot imagine a better place to stay in Hocking hills for this size and price. I love the fact that it has the main cabin and the "mother-in-law" cabin right next to it. Both cabins are beautifully taken care of, decorated, and clean, clean, clean. It had everything we needed for a great stay although we didn't spend much time in the cabin as the grounds are amazing. The ponds are awesome and have some huge fish in them. We were able to catch many smaller fish just by dropping your pole in the water. Bring your football, baseballs and lacrosse sticks as there is so much open space for active families. We spent our nights around the fire pit and in the amazing hot tub. It is conveniently located off route 33 and close to all the restaurants and outdoor activities in Hocking Hills. The owner was great to deal with, not only with booking the cabin but solving a door lock issue within a couple of hours. You can tell he takes great pride in the care of the cabin and also his guests. I highly recommend this cabin or should I say cabins if you are visiting Hocking Hills

Beautiful house with a beautiful view

5 of 5
The home owners were polite and very willing to help from the get go. The house was even more beautiful than we had expected and the koi pond ands quite a touch for first impressions. Before we even explored the house we took a much needed break in the massage chairs, which are an amazing way to pass the time. The windows on the house also add an amazing view and great natural light. Unfortunately we caught a rainy weekend so we didn't get to hike or have a fire as planned, but the hot tub was a nice alternative. And to top it off the rain showers will have you never wanting to return home to a normal tub. Loved the house and property, would happily come back.

Awesome Cabin, Awesome Views

5 of 5
From the time we walked into this cabin, I knew my selection of where to stay in Hocking Hills was the right one. The cabin was awesomely clean, very well decorated, and smelled wonderful. The view out the sliding glass doors on the first floor was absolutely stunning. We were just as impressed when we went downstairs to check out the lower level. It was just as beautiful as the first floor. The weather was such that I was able to sit out on the patio and read a book. One thing that really impressed me was the number of Bible based books on the book cases in the lower level. I even read one called "God's Story, Your Story: When His Becomes Yours" by Max Lucado. This was an awesome read. We also made use of the hot tub on the lower level patio one evening. One place we visited was the strip mall of antique shops. Once again the weather was beautiful, and we were able to enjoy a leisurely stroll from shop to shop. We have visited Hocking Hills a number of times, and I can say Matt's place is my absolute favorite. Matt was great to work with and responded to our questions and inquiries in a timely manner. He even went above and beyond and emailed me the paint colors used in his cabin when I asked if he'd mind getting them for me after we'd gone home. He is absolutely wonderful to work with, and I look forward to another stay when I am ready for some R&R, peace and tranquility from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Thanks Matt for sharing your beautiful property with us.
