Fantastic vacation home and great location.

5 of 5
A group of us gamers rented this house because we attended the Origins Game Fair at the convention center. It had great location and the owners were really great to work with. At the time of our rental, the owners were still working on the house a bit so it was not quite completely in order, compared to other rental homes. One of the bedrooms was not supposed to be opened yet, but they allowed us to use it. Dressers and closet space was unavailable to us and a downstairs bathroom was currently being remodeled. That was a year ago however, and the house was very newly on the vacation rental market. I would assume all of those issues are completely resolved by now. None of that really was a problem for our purposes though. Here are some thoughts from some of the guys: "The house fit our needs perfectly. Plenty of space, clean, safe, near the free bus (C Bus) to downtown, and near a grocery store. Only negative is no microwave. Popcorn is too popular to not have one." "I want to give a special shout out to the owner, who admirably hid his shock and disbelief at the number of board games sitting on the folding table we set up in his dining room." "- Extremely close to the great social atmosphere of the Short North - CBUS a block away - Accommodating owners - Plenty of hot water :) " "The house was charming, hospitable, clean & just the right size. Easy access to the C-Bus (Free Circular bus), and only minutes away from downtown Columbus by foot or bus. 5-Stars!" "PROS: Nice back yard for grilling out (though we didn't) All basic appliances worked; Water pressure/temp in the showers were great. Has a very comfy feel. cons: no microwave. Main-floor bathroom out of order at the time of rental." I would highly recommend renting this home and I will be returning for my future stays in Columbus.

Wonderful, quirky, eccentric & cozy.

Townhouse was warm & welcoming. Stairs up to third floor were a little tricky, but it was my favorite room. Roger was an incredibly kind and gracious host. Close to Schiller Park and easy walk to German Village restaurants & shops.

Great space in a perfect location.

Beautifully restored carriage house was the perfect set-up for 2 couples. Upstairs space was a perfect place to relax and have a drink when we weren't out and about. Tons of Short North bars, restaurants and galleries steps outside the door, and both downtown and the University are walkable if you are motivated.
