Nice vacation. Enjoyed the villa so much!

5 of 5
We had a really unforgettable week staying at Baan Saitara. The villa we stayed at is Villa 2 and the sea view is fantastic. Open living area with everything you could ask for. Fully equipped kitchen that we can make our onw meal and enjoy a coffee or tea. The maids come to clean the villa every day which I found really nice. (I've stayed in some other villas on this island, not many can do every day house cleaning except for hotels) The swimming pool is very clean, they have a guy coming 3 times a week to look after it which we appreciated it a lot. The reason I like this villa so much is it meets all my needs: it's spacious, clean and well equipped, like your own home. It has maids, pool guy, a manager etc so i can reach all the services I need. (The manager Cat is always there to assist you, answering your questions and organizing car rental for us) it's in Lamai, a relatively quiet area, but with a car, you can go anywhere on this island (the island is not big and roads are not complicated, most attractions are not far to drive to. this areas have two big supermarkets, some night markets, some very nice restaurants and cafes etc). And the price is quite affordable compared to the villas those providing similar services. Would def come back.

Top Villa

5 of 5

Stunning location in tranquil rural setting!

5 of 5
We certainly appreciated the wonderful hospitality of Ria, Putu and their lovely family who go the extra mile to ensure that their guests have such an enjoyable stay at Villa Riang. This is no doubt true and is what attracted us to book in the first place. We arrived there from England after two pretty exhausting flights and a car journey from the airport and we were instantly made very welcome. Next morning after breakfast we met with Ria and with some great Bali coffee we discussed our plans for the stay. Ria made some really helpful suggestions and we worked out an itinerary to explore real Bali. From that moment onwards our hopes and dreams began to be realised. Due to the organised trips we enjoyed so many wonderful days out with varied and very memorable experiences! This truly made all the difference to our stay. We were also made very welcome by Ria’s family and spent a few lovely evenings together out dining with them, we ate some wonderful fish, swam in the pool with the girls, and had some great fun with her two boys exchanging tricks and playing games. In addition to this Carol & Ria got on very well from the beginning and we all enjoyed some fascinating conversation and exchanges of language and culture. Our highlights were: Putu’s trek & Ria’s food afterwards comes highly recommended! An early morning Trip to Lovina Beach to see the dolphins with an 80% chance of a sighting and we were lucky! Trips out to the Buddhist monastery and The Holy hot springs, The rice terraces of Jatiluwih and the journey there with amazing vistas and views. The botanical gardens, stopping to explore a local market selling all kinds of exotic fruit, trying the Bali coffee and local delicacies. A trip to Kintamani and the still active volcano with views of deep craters and Mount Batur and the great lake. The views were truly stunning and we also enjoyed an amazing meal with Ria at a panoramic restaurant site. The area has so much to offer and we certainly made the most of our stay. The views from the villa are stunning you feel like you are up in a forest canopy. The accommodation was excellent, the rooms were cleaned daily and the thoughtful placement of flowers in the rooms added a special touch. Ria and her friendly staff did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We enjoyed delicious lunches, Carol had several massages and we left both energised and relaxed. We would certainly recommend a stay here and would love to come again!
