Fantastic vacation

5 of 5
We had the pleasure of spending the whole month of February in this beautiful villa. The entire process from start to finish was flawless and the owners Terri and Trish were great to work with as well as extremely accommodating. We were even able to meet them the day we arrived. The villa is exactly like the pictures and has everything you will need or had hoped for. The views from every room are breathtaking and the sound of the waves at night are soothing. The best view was from my floaty in the pool while sipping on my margarita !! The villa is very large and provided good space for a large group of family. Plenty of outdoor space and I appreciated all the beautiful gardens around the villa as it attracted lots of birds and butterflies. We spent most of our time outdoors during the day and playing cards in the evening on the front patio. It's a short walk down to the wonderful beach and also a small hotel that serves pretty good food and drinks if you just want to have some different scenery and meet a few of the other residence from the bay. It is situated about 45 minutes from Huatulco and about 35 minutes to a large grocery store but the villa has a freezer so we stocked up for the week so we didn't have to travel so often. A car rental is a must but with that being said it is also extremely expensive as we needed a van so 4 weeks was running at about 3800.00. ouch!! We explored the whole area all the way to Puerto Escondido several times and we drove up to Hagia Sofia and spent a lovely day touring around the gardens. We loved loved loved the pool!!! it was the highlight of our days and some nights too. The young man that came to clean it was so nice and he did a great job. The maid was also really pleasant and was quick to honour any special requests. The Canadian satalite t.v. was a bonus. Overall my kids, grandkids and ourselves had a terrific vacation here. If you are looking for breathtaking ocean views, luxury villa amenities and solitude then this is the place for you.

Good house, terrific terrace in large garden.

If you want a taste of the real Mexican life in a village, while being still near the delights the city of Oaxaca has to offer, this is the place! The house is big and clean, Customer service was excellent; quick and very kind. We would recommend this house to anyone; we felt safe at all times. The terrace is fantastic, with view of the mountains, starry nights and beautiful sunrise. Hope to come back soon, it's all there: hospitable and helpful Mexicans, many museums, markets and churches and delicious food .

The most relaxing family vacation we've ever taken!

5 of 5
We stayed at Casa Tres Azules the last week of November 2013. We were 3 small families, and the house was amazing! Each family had one of the casitas and the children slept in the TV room, which has 2 beds, and the maid's/mother in law room. It was perfect. We really didn't leave the house much, as there is absolutely no reason to! The beach is AMAZING and very private. We rarely saw anyone else on the beach, just a few fisherman on our morning walks. There is a little lagoon, not too far down the beach where the kids loved to play. We were worried, based on things we'd read, about the undertow and the current, but it wasn't too bad. It was definitely strong at times, but we kept an eye on the kids and they were able to play in the water, boogie board and body surf with no problem. The water was bathtub warm, just perfect. The beach and water were very clean, no debris as we've seen at other beaches along the Pacific. The pool at the house was also amazing. It was perfect for everyone as there is a deeper lap pool area and then a shallow area with a large platform that is great for little kids. As you walk up from the beach to the house, there is a water spigot where you can wash off so as to not track sand into the pool. There is also an outdoor shower on the side of the house near the pool. I can't say enough good about Nina the house manager and Julio the ground keeper. They were both amazing and so helpful! Julio has a van and you can arrange to have him pick you up at the airport if you aren't planning on renting a car. If you want to go into the city regularly, you'll want a car, but if you are just planning on staying at the house, you could arrange for Julio to help you get into the market or the airport. We had Itzel cook for us while we were there and she was fantastic! She was so friendly and nice to have around and the food was delicious and displayed beautifully. We especially loved the pina coladas and fruit juices that she'd make from fresh coconuts on the property and the fresh pineapples up the street. We would tell Julio what we needed each day and he'd cut them off the trees fresh! Amazing! His wife also makes delicious tortillas and you can have Julio bring them each morning. We truly LOVED every minute of our stay at the house. It was warm and humid, so we stayed in the pool most of the day, but the air conditioners in each room made sleeping very comfortable. Thank you Katherine for sharing your home!
