Best Kept Secret

5 of 5
I'm reticent to tell you too much because this beautiful vacation property may get snapped up all to often and not be available again. I would have to say that it was one of the nicest holidays I have ever had. It was last January that I had the opportunity to stay at Trish and Terry's beautiful paradise. Terry and Trish are delightful and answered any questions I had quickly and efficiently. Also, the locals and adgacent neighbours were more than hospitable! The location on the Pacific coast is to die for! The temperature is usually a perfect 82 degrees give or take a few. Even though the pictures are tantalizing they do not do this property justice. Every view from any window is a feast for one's eyes. The gardens are gorgeous and the five minute walk to Salchi beach is very pleasant. Once at the beach be sure to stop in at the Mantaraya Hotel for a margarita. The accommodations are beautiful and are extremely clean and roomy. I loved the mexican decor....they did a beautiful job of providing a comfortable and authentic environment. And then there's the pool, what can I say, execpt I think I might have spent a good portion of my holiday floating in the lovely refreshing pool. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to others it is a magnificent place to be.

A Vacation to Remember!

5 of 5
Upon arrival at the Mansiones I was greeted by the friendly staff. I walked through the entrance and was so amazed at the beauty of the development and its' surroundings. The pool area is gorgeous, so quiet and relaxing. They have a ton of amenities including a gym, spa with steam room, media room so you can have movie & popcorn night and much more. Plus they are opening a new restaurant in December...we will be back to enjoy that! The condos at Mansiones are beautiful and well done. The ceilings are high and the rooms are very spacious. The kitchen is beautiful with granite, great appliances and washer/dryer. At night we would sit on the terrace with an ice cold beverage and enjoy the beautiful mountain views. Or we'd head up to the rooftop terrace and enjoy views of Tangolunda bay. It is about a 10 minute walk down to the nearest beach of Santa Cruz. There are great restaurants, markets and shopping in Santa Cruz or you can take a cheap taxi to La Crucecita for more amenities. We cannot wait to get back to Huatulco and the Mansiones. Thank you to the staff at Mansiones for making us feel welcome and for assisting us with our stay. We look forward to seeing you again and will recommend you to our friends and family!

Vacation at Casa Kikillia

5 of 5
Wow, what a perfect get-away vacation. You're just far enough away from Puerto Escondido to feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, but close enough for all the amenities! We had everything we needed as far as sleeping arrangements. There were three of us. I love the bathrooms which are spacious and open with shelves and hanging space for everything you bring. I also really enjoyed being close enough to the beach to hear the waves all night, but enough yards away to hear the birds in the morning. Loved exploring and seeing all the different plants and animals and walking or having a picnic on the beach. There were some mosquitoes, but only for a short time at dawn and dusk. I had almost no bites...got a lot more when I went home than at Casa Kikillia! Definitely a unique experience with the kitchen/palapa separate from the sleeping structure. I loved hanging out on the cushions under the palapa to read or just feel the breeze on my face while sipping lemonade! The kitchen has everything you could need for cooking from pots and pans, microwave, stove, frig, utensils...you name it. The stress-free place for a little R&R. I'd go back every summer if I could!
