An oasis in the city

4 of 5
After a cold, long winter we were excited to be escaping for 10 days. This was our first time renting a home and it was a wonderful experience. Cherie your information and quick response to any enquiries really eased our minds. The home is exactly as portrayed in the pictures, spotlessly clean and I have to say the swimming pool was the highlight for us! The beautiful lush greenery with the parrots chattering in the background was like an oasis from the heat of Puerto Escondido. The house is located very centrally so it is so easy to get to the various areas of town with the grocery store (Super Che) a few blocks and even the wonderful local market within walking distance. There is some noise from vehicles as it is a busy area but you can't be in the hub of things without hearing some traffic. With that said the house is very private so although you can hear movement you can't see it nor can you be seen. The housekeeper is lovely, our Spanish is weak making it a little tricky communicating but Spanish is the native language so that is our problem and not a reflection of the property. In addition there is typically an on site manger who speaks English but he happened to be away during our stay. Cherie called to welcome us and looked after any little quires we had open arrival. Hope to be able to return one day!

Wouldn't Change a Thing

This property Casa Rebecca is even more beautiful in person than the pictures can show. My wife and I stayed there the month of February 2015. We were met upon arrival by a very nice young gentleman who helped us with our luggage and gave us a tour of the inside area the private Palapa area, and the out side pool area. Shortly after he left the property manager Nina came to explain the area and help us get connected to their Wi Fi she was available our whole stay to answer any questions very helpful. WE had maid service twice a week in which we were able to choose the time and days. This is a very safe and well lit gated property. Location is excellent for a variety of dining and cab access. Sunsets up on the top Palapa are like no other. WE were able to spot Whales and dolphins on several occasions very entertaining. When Thomas rents his property you are truly his guest he makes sure every detail is perfect . My wife and I have been vacationing for over 30 years and this is truly one of our nicest experiences. Perfect Oaxacan gem

5 of 5
Casa Cachito is far and away the best vacation house we have ever rented, and we have done so in Italy, France and Hawaii. The house and gardens are exactly as they appear in the photos, if not more exquisite. The 3-person staff keep the house immaculate, providing fresh sheets and towels regularly, a delicious breakfast daily and a willingness to meet whatever needs one might express, including driving to nearby artisan rich towns. The owner/manager responded quickly and thoroughly to all my inquiries, even providing some outstanding restaurant recommendations. The house is an easy walk to the historic center of Oaxaca, which we walked day and night w/o incident. The house, pool and gym tempt one to stay in; only the exotic lure of Oaxaca got us out. The house easily accommodates 4 couples. Yes, I would recommend this house w/o hesitation.
