Good house, terrific terrace in large garden.

5 of 5
If you want a taste of the real Mexican life in a village, while being still near the delights the city of Oaxaca has to offer, this is the place! The house is big and clean, Customer service was excellent; quick and very kind. We would recommend this house to anyone; we felt safe at all times. The terrace is fantastic, with view of the mountains, starry nights and beautiful sunrise. Hope to come back soon, it's all there: hospitable and helpful Mexicans, many museums, markets and churches and delicious food .

Casa Colibri

5 of 5
Casa Colibri is a wonderful Oaxacan retreat. It is very comfortable and has wonderful, relaxing views from the back of the house. Both my wife and I spend a lot of time writing, reading, and walking and for people like us the house is ideal. Also, it is just a short drive (or bus or cab ride) to food stores, Oaxaca’s famous restaurants, and activities at the Zocalo. Another attraction is that the neighbors are mostly English-speakers with very interesting backgrounds and willing to go out of their way to make one feel welcome. We have stayed at Casa Colibri for extended periods during the last three years and plan to return this year. We walk our talk.
