        GORGEOUS SOLITUDE

        5 of 5
This beautiful, comfortable little house rests on the most improbable of beaches: a tidal, saltwater bay where the water levels rise to provide excellent swimming and kayaking, and fall to show places to fish and go clamming, while the swim beach remains. You can kayak across to the mighty pebble beach facing the open sea for smashing waves and wild flights of sea birds, rest in the sun among the pines, and cook fresh halibut in the evening. Lockeport is just over the harbor past the property's driveway, and it is an easy drive down to Shelburne for shopping and sightseeing -- if you need any sight more than the amazing views from this house! Can't wait to come back. Thank you.

        HAVEN'T THOUGHT OF IT MUCH.

I loved the place, it was quiet and very secluded. Didn't have to worry about anyone seeing us inside. Also, liked the lobster & fish we were able to buy at a reasonable price. We now live in S. Carolina so we are unable to get fresh lobster, also live about 3 hours from the coast so are unable to buy fresh fish. I am from the Phila area, and my husband is from NH, when my husband retired we lived 9 years in NH and we got used to fresh lobster. I also enjoyed the town of Shelburne, which we drove to almost every day. Also liked the areas we were able to drive to, specifically Lunenburg, a good location to see Nova Scotia. We found the place clean and description accurate. We would recommend to friends & relatives, and I have. We were in Nova Scotia with our Motor Home, years ago and toured the northern area, we were happy to see the southern area of Nova Scotia.
