Absolutely wonderful!

5 of 5
We found the Wildflower Cottage to be an oasis of peace and tranquility in marvellous surroundings. I particularly enjoyed waking in the morning to the view of the Annapolis River and having my morning coffee in the sun room looking out at the river and the butterfly garden but there are many other delights with this property. It was spotlessly clean and well-kitted out. The location was perfect...private but only minutes from the historic town of Annapolis Royal. We also enjoyed some hiking trails nearby. We loved our time there and only wish it could have been longer.

Simply Awesome

5 of 5
When you first enter the house you are taken in by the spectacular ocean view through each of the windows and sliders facing the ocean. It's the type of view where you can just sit and take it in all day. The house is nicely furnished, well maintained and comes with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. At night relaxing on the enclosed porch with the sliders open and listening to the waves is the perfect end to each day. If your looking for a place to get away, unplug and relax look no further. One of the great things about the area is how un-touresty it is. No crowds, no traffic, no souvenir shops. A nice and useful touch that the owner Jeff provided was a list of things to see/do in the area. This was very helpful in deciding a days activities. The nearby beaches (Carter's and the Kejimkujik Seaside Park) are a great afternoon activity. If you go to Kejimkujik bring a jacket (even if its 80 degrees out), it is a spectacular beach. We have already recommended this to friends and hopefully we'll have a chance to visit again some day.

Lovely, spacious, quirky holiday home

4 of 5
The church is a fabulous place to stay. We loved its quirkiness and all the lovely little touches. The beds were very comfortable and our daughter especially liked the roof window in her bedroom. Rose was very helpful and the homemade bread and jam yummy. I appreciated the fresh flowers too. The only downside was the heat that built up in the church during the day, but Rose provided plenty of fans which helped. Beautiful and spacious. It was only 5 mins to Annapolis Royal and 30 mins to Digby. Favourite place to eat was Vickis.
