Beautiful Views and Great House

5 of 5
My two travelling companions and I thoroughly enjoyed our week in this well-equipped and comfortable cottage on the Cabot Trail. The kitchen had everything we needed, the cottage was beautifully decorated and we felt at home immediately. The high-quality patio set was very comfy with great views of the coastline. Even better was watching spectacular sunsets from the rocking chairs on the front porch with full view of the water. The cottage's proximity to Cheticamp for shopping and restaurants, Baddeck, and the Cape Breton Highlands National Park make it the perfect place to stay.

Awesome place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your beautiful 'home away from home'! The surroundings were magnificent! Nothing can beat the gorgeous view of the Cape Breton highlands from the living room and kitchen. We saw seals in the ocean bay right in front of the cottage. We hiked the National Park trails and enjoyed the awesome beauty! Cheticamp offered everything we needed, including wonderful fresh fish for dinners. The kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms comfortable, and the house was remarkably spacious on the inside. We loved the fact that the house is situated on Cheticamp Island, which makes it somewhat private and remote, and yet, it's close to Cheticamp and the National Park.

A unique and fabulous place to stay!

This house is charming, comfortable and located on the Cheticamp harbor which makes it unique. The deck affords views of the fishing boats, sunsets, Cheticamp Island and the ocean. I have stayed in harbor villages in different countries, but never one as peaceful and beautiful as this. Larissa New York City
