                        A LITTLE SLICE OF HEAVEN!!!!

                        5 of 5
A week of bliss!! Great walking trail just a few steps from the house. This trail goes on forever!! We just loved it. You can go down to the canal and watch the seals and a Bald Eagle! You can make a right on the trail and just go a little ways during low tide and gather sea glass!! We would just walk up to town have breakfast or lunch! Lovely grocery store! Every where we went in town we met the friendliest people. St Peters is a delightful laid back little town. There is plenty to do within an hours drive. Now about this lovely home, it is so very inviting and charming! There were 5 adults and we all had plenty of space! A warm and cozy sunroom!! A spacious dinning room. Extremely well equipped kitchen! We cooked Lobster outside and there was everything we need to get the job done. The beds were extremely comfortable! At night we sat around the fire pit!! This is a comeback home!!

Stunning ocean view, peaceful, clean and cozy.

We had the most beautiful week at Russ and Joan's cottage. We enjoyed Germaine and Roland's visits to check that we had what we needed. The cottage was so much more than we expected. Every night we witnessed a stunning sunset from the front porch. We enjoyed walks along the beach choosing the best stones and driftwood to collect. The bald eagles perched at the pier would often fly by in front of our eyes. The people of Cape Breten are the warmest and friendliest. The music in the pubs was so enjoyable. This was the best part of our Nova Scotia vacation.

Looking for a perfect place, stop looking...

                        5 of 5
Upon our arrival, we were not only pleased, but blown away, this is a house not a cottage, with everything and more that you could possibly need. So homey and welcoming with the addition of this amazing gazebo the likes we have never seen! Magnificent views of the Bras d’Or lakes through 14 huge windows. We enjoyed breakfast out there every day, no matter on the weather, just sitting there taking it all in made it difficult to leave. We enjoyed daily visits from Humming Birds, King fisher, Canada geese so low we could see their feathers, and of course the magnificent Eagles! All this on a well kept property and water front, with a canoe and pdfs provided. Once we did hit the road, we found we were within reasonable driving distance to everything we needed. Port Hawksburry 20 min drive, with everything from Tim Hortons to WalMart. Port Hood Beach with it’s warm waters (stop at Seandeannes for breakfast, they serve a dressing that I have dreams about and their homemade bread!!) and Inverness were our favorite beaches, although Kenington gave us the thrill of a lifetime bodysurfing on prehuricane waves that were awesome!! Make sure to put aside a full day, wearing comfy clothes and shoes to visit the Louisbourg Fort, a stop at the Lobster Kettle for supper on their deck cannot be missed. The crab is to die for. On your way to the cabot trail, make sure to get out at the ferry in Englishtown and talk to some of the locals fishing and take in the beauty and starfish. You may want to return to this area on a seperate occasion to take in Donaldas puffin boat tour (well worth the money, we saw eagles, dolphins, seals, and gourgeous coastline) and to visit artisan alley, have a scrumptious lunch at the Clucking Hen, make sure to take some of their homemade treats along for the drive of a lifetime along the Cabot trail. Alexander Graham Bell museum was well worth a look on a rainy day, incredible what we don’t know about our own history, very interesting on many levels. We were also surprised by the interactive Gaelic village in Iona. The Red Shoes in Mabou goes without saying, great food and cold beverages, with ceilidhs every night. We feel very priveledged to have stayed at Three Waters Villa and plan on returning, if you are looking for THE perfect place, look no more!!!
