First time Homeaway renter

5 of 5
Thanks Jason for your patience and working with me on making my payment. My wife, children, and grandchildren had an exceptional time. The condo and hotel with its swimming pool and being right on the beach kept everyone occupied and entertained. Reluctantly I left the property for the road trips you recommended and they were well worth the price of the rental car. Jose who you put me in contact with was very good to us, and the Doctor you called for my grandson came to your condo and spent at least an hour with him and told us what medicine to buy. Even the medicine was delivered to the condo by way of a man on a moped...simply amazing experience, and the visit was only 500 pesos. At 13.5 pesos to the dollar thats a deal in Canada or the US. I plan to send my daughter and soon to be husband in April and I know you will treat them well as you did me. Thank you, Francis Delahoussaye, Quebec

The perfect place to stay for a perfect Holiday!

4 of 5
We had a wonderful experience in this very nicely furnished condo on the 7th floor overlooking the ocean. It was completely private which is very much what both of us look for in accommodation. We spend quite a lot of our time in our condo, so the quality of furniture is really important to us. we were extremely happy with the high end quality and comfort of it. The WiFi worked extremely well and was fast. Another must have for us. The only reason for not giving this unit 5 stars was the floor plan which doesn't go completely through to give the little balcony off the second bedroom. We always enjoyed that feature a lot in our other rental. We talked to some folk who had the east balcony and they never used theirs, so it is really a personal thing. To us it's very important as the blinds don't have to be pulled all the time with the balcony that high up, and one gets the early morning view of the spectacular Mazatlan sunrises! The owner, Dennis, is awfully good to deal with, he is quick to address any questions or concerns. This was a deciding factor in renting his condo. The rental manager, George was very personable and made getting from and to the airport totally worry free. Nice!! He also went above and beyond in finding me a house address that was most important to my stay. I can't say how thankful I am for all that. Having the laundry right in the condo was also hugely appreciated. My husband wished the TV would have been bigger. However on the whole I would highly recommend the condo to others looking to stay in what I think is one of the very best high rise condos in Mazatlan!

Love, love this place!

5 of 5
We have now stayed here twice and have yet to be disappointed. It feels brand new and very clean. The last time we took our 4 children and found it very comfortable for all of us. The owner had a packet of information we found to be very helpful with places to eat and shop, with options for transportation. They had detailed which bus to take to where and we found bus transportation dirt cheap and convenient with a bus stop just across the street; but if we couldn't find the right bus coming back pulmonias are everywhere and not very much money either. We liked being in a more private setting off of the goldzone. It is very quiet and peaceful at Tierra Sands. We went in March and in June which is their off season and both times there were very few people on the beaches, if any, so it was pretty sweet. It feels pretty warm that time of year when walking around the gold zone etc but at the condo it was always very comfortable. My favorite thing about this place are these huge sliding glass doors that open to the balcony with an amazing view of the ocean and allow a constant ocean breeze to blow through the place; it is a constant reminder that you really are right on the beach. At night we would close the doors and turn on the air conditioning so the pounding surf wouldn't keep us awake, but otherwise the smell and feel of the ocean breeze through the condo is amazing. The kitchen was great and I found everything I needed to cook etc. The owner had good instructions of where to go for groceries and better still, a list of places to eat. Our favorite place of those he suggested was a place called the cave of the lion; amazing food for very little money. We also like Chili Peppers and Pancho’s that are right on the beach. Our kids like the aquarium and the water park but more than anything they loved the beach and the pool. The staff at Tierra Sands is very nice and extremely helpful. They were happy to call cabs or make arrangements for fishing etc. The pool and facilities were always clean and well cared for. The condo had reliable wifi.
