                    Great family friendly lodging

We chose this townhouse because of the amazing views and it did not disappoint. Although July is sweltering hot in Rocky Point, the AC on this unit kept us cool and comfortable. The property is well maintained and close to all the restaurants on the Malecon. The frying pans had seen better days, but we didnt cook that much anyways. We found we enjoyed going out. The beach in this area is quite rocky, so water shoes are a must. Our first two days the seas were quite rough but it made for good boogie boarding at high tide. The tidepooling at low tide was awesome. The final morning the seas were perfectly calm. Calm enough to go snorkeling right off the reef, but alas, it was time for us to go. We fed the neighborhood dogs some leftover hamburgers one night and they stayed on our patio the rest of the trip. Our kids loved it. We will definitely stay here again. Next time we will bring some dish soap and a new sponge, and a better first aid kit. I'm so used to having everything in our camper I didnt realize what I was missing until we needed it. The boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrella we brought were invaluable. It would have been nice to have those items stocked, but for the price of this unit I'm not complaining. Absolutely beautiful and as advertised. Thanks for a wonderful trip!
