Beautiful Cabin, Relaxing Family Getaway, Fun ...

5 of 5
Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful Cabin, Relaxing Family Getaway, Fun Snowboarding Trip The cabin was beautiful. The property was easy to find. The river behind the cabin added to the beauty of the property. There were four adults and one child, and we brought our two French Bulldogs with us. We all had plenty of room and once we stocked up at the grocery store, we cooked every night and had a blast. I only have two small complaints, number one being the gas grill ran out of gas after being lit for less than 5 mins. That should not have happened. It's the responsibility of the cabin rental management to ensure things like this are not overlooked. We had our steaks sitting on an unlit grill for 10 mins before we realized that the gas had burnt out. Then we finished them in the oven. The second complaint is, the bedding did not fit the beds. The fitted sheets for the queen sized beds was maybe a full size, so it took some serious muscle power (and I'm 6'-0" 215lbs athletic build) to be able to pull this sheet onto the mattress. Once I finally got it on the mattress, the mattress looked like a banana, as it pulled the whole thing bowed up on all ends. It was not the right size. The bedding was just enough to cover the mattress and a sheet for yourself. No comforter and no additional blankets. This isn't what you'd expect from a cabin in the winter. You'd expect to have ample bedding for comfort. And you would definitely expect the bedding to fit the bed. This was the case for 3 queen sized beds. They were all too small. Just the fitted sheet was the problem. Anyways, we made it work. So, management, if you're reading this, please spend some money and get this issue resolved. We would like to come back and stay here again, but not until these issues are fully resolved. Other than that, we were very happy with our stay. They allowed us a late (3:00pm) check out, which really helped us out and was greatly appreciated. Very nice, highly recommended!
