JUST PERFECT!!!

5 of 5
The house is perfect, the location is great, very very quiet. The house is equipped with everything one could need...and even more. Beds are more than confortable, it was difficult to get up in the morning to go explore the aera. Stephanie thought of everything for you. When she writes: you deserve to be spoiled, she means it!

Cute, Comfortable, Convenient!

4 of 5
My mom, myself, and my 2 small children loved our 10 day stay here! The cottage is conveniently located and super-cute. Chelsea was very welcoming and helpful. The house had everything we needed and what it didn't have was easily obtained from the Harris Teeter or Trader Joe's around the corner. My children happily played with the many game offerings and loved the bright, happy feel of the place. There are only 2 beds, but my children prefer co-sleeping, so it wasn't a problem. Room for an inflatable in the living room, if you wanted to bring one. With 2 small children, we ate in a lot and felt right at home in the kitchen. For such a long stay it was important we have laundry facilities so having the washer and dryer downstairs was golden. There was a little problem with fruit flies (? or some small fly) the second day, but we just took the trash out every night afterwards and it was fine. The light-bulb burnt out on the porch, but the people working on the main house (they were painting while we were there) were very helpful and fixed it quickly. There is a great running path (Reed Creek Greenway) just northwest of the house where Magnolia meets Broadway - about 5K up into the University of Asheville and back. The trolley tour was a great introduction to the area. The girls enjoyed a little park within walking distance off Magnolia more than once and also had free water play fun at Splashville in Pack Square Park. I definitely recommend this home and would book it in a heartbeat if coming again!

Lakehouse With a Million dollar View

5 of 5
We have stayed in many homes on the Lake over the last 20 years, and the Enchanted Cottage is one of the most beautiful we have visited. It is truly the epitome of a vintage lake home.. The view is unsurpassed. The property was clean and well maintained. Debbie the caretaker and her son were most attentive and kind. We always love a visit to Chimney Rock. We would recommend this property to anyone wanting to enjoy the lake., except for anyone who has trouble navigating steps, as there are many to get to house. Overall, the Enchanted Cottage is certainly just that, Enchanted.
