weekday retreat

5 of 5
We had a wonderful time at this house for three days. It was so much more beautiful than we could have expected and the house was a luxurious yet comfortable way to spend those three days. It is tucked away in a secluded yet accessible part of the mountains, nestled just past a very scenic farm valley. The house very comfortably fit a group of 8, including three couples. Two dining rooms, spacious living rooms, and a large kitchen made it a very livable situation for a medium sized group. While the house is capable of sleeping 18-20 people, the two bathrooms and one master bathroom are probably the limiting factor. The hot tub was an added bonus and there were clear instructions for its maintenance and use. The house is located very conveniently nearby great hiking and only 30 minutes from downtown Asheville. The owner was a pleasure to work with and very professional. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Amazing Views, House has everything you need

5 of 5
20 people for work retreat with families, new born baby, plus pets. This house was wonderfully spacious - we could have had more people and would have still been comfortable honestly. We barely used the downstairs. Had a great day by the river, splashing in the pristine water. Hot tub was a big plus!

I Love This Place!

5 of 5
This Beautiful Log Home is in a quiet spot in the Smokey Mountains situated at the end of a long gravel road. The surrounding grounds are neat and well kept and makes the property really stand out as you drive towards it. We really enjoyed our time here, as the house is extremely comfortable, and private. It has it's own spring water, and two water heaters, and two AC units so we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I enjoyed waking up each morning and looking out of my bedroom to the Bass pond, and then sitting out on the Beautiful deck area to have my morning coffee and enjoy the peaceful climate. The weather was perfect! we watched a Hummingbird come to feed from the bird feeder then took a walk down in the meadow to take photos of the many flowers that were growing there. We would definitely recommend this as a Holiday retreat, and we are looking forward to returning here as soon as we can.
