Spring Break with family at Asheville Mountain Chateaux

5 of 5
We vacation every Spring Break with the whole family. We are a total of 11 plus pets. Important is the rental of a house that allows pets. They are part of our family and we don't leave home without them. After finding this large rental and the fact that we could bring our pets - that sold us!! This home is exceptional. Not only very large, roomy and comfortable but set on top of the highest mountain in Black Mountain. The views from the decks were amazing! With the two levels, there was always room to relax and enjoy a evening of Television or reading while downstairs you could relax as well, while others played pool or enjoyed the hot tub! One of the greatest was the access to 4 bathrooms, no waiting!! The large kitchen had this great Island where you could definitely do your set up and cooking. Two great large SS refrigerators!! So handy for that extra food and drinks when you have a large group. Another important area was the very large wash machine plus two dryers!!! Great help when you have a large group using up the towels! Once down the mountain you could enjoy the town of Black Mountain with many cute shops - many selling local crafts. Then there's Asheville -with the Biltmore Estate and so many Craft Beer Breweries. Of course there's White Water Rafting, Zip Lining and Ghost Tours just to name a few. All in all, the family, this Spring Break and a wonderful time in a wonderful large mountain home.

We had a wonderful time! We were here for our daughter's wedding at the Biltmore. It was a very nice house and perfect for our whole family of 12 to stay in. The view and weather were both incredible! ????

I Love This Place!

5 of 5
This Beautiful Log Home is in a quiet spot in the Smokey Mountains situated at the end of a long gravel road. The surrounding grounds are neat and well kept and makes the property really stand out as you drive towards it. We really enjoyed our time here, as the house is extremely comfortable, and private. It has it's own spring water, and two water heaters, and two AC units so we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I enjoyed waking up each morning and looking out of my bedroom to the Bass pond, and then sitting out on the Beautiful deck area to have my morning coffee and enjoy the peaceful climate. The weather was perfect! we watched a Hummingbird come to feed from the bird feeder then took a walk down in the meadow to take photos of the many flowers that were growing there. We would definitely recommend this as a Holiday retreat, and we are looking forward to returning here as soon as we can.
