Great weekend

5 of 5
This house provided a great weekend for our group of 13. It was clean, easy to get to and had everything we needed. It's nice and quiet in the neighborhood, pretty far from anyone else. Yes, there is a noise ordinance starting at 9 or 10pm but we didn't think twice about it and had no complaints. You have to really try to get the neighbors to hear you (like outdoor speakers). Very easy to get to Asheville for the day, and easy to get a cab back. We actually got a limo bus to bring our group back for about $12 a person.

Birthday getaway

5 of 5
We we looking for a weekend getaway to celebrate my wife's birthday. We found maintain chalet in perfect condition when we arrived. The house and views were just as described. We spent most of our time at the house, there were about 18 of us and we did not feel cramped or short on space which was a concern for me. We will almost certainly look to rent this home again in the future. The owner was GREAT to work with and the information provided gives you everything you need for a great stay.

I Love This Place!

5 of 5
This Beautiful Log Home is in a quiet spot in the Smokey Mountains situated at the end of a long gravel road. The surrounding grounds are neat and well kept and makes the property really stand out as you drive towards it. We really enjoyed our time here, as the house is extremely comfortable, and private. It has it's own spring water, and two water heaters, and two AC units so we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I enjoyed waking up each morning and looking out of my bedroom to the Bass pond, and then sitting out on the Beautiful deck area to have my morning coffee and enjoy the peaceful climate. The weather was perfect! we watched a Hummingbird come to feed from the bird feeder then took a walk down in the meadow to take photos of the many flowers that were growing there. We would definitely recommend this as a Holiday retreat, and we are looking forward to returning here as soon as we can.
