Very warm and inviting after a long drive.

Looked at many cabins online but kept coming back to Heritage. This has been a stressful year and we needed a place to unwind. The cabin was so clean all we had to do what put our clothes in the closets. A notebook was on the table that answered any question you may have. Also directions to places to eat and things to do. They even thought of a discount card for Ingles Markets. We brought our one dog Abby with us and she loved checking out the area. My cousin and her husband who live in the area thought the cabin was perfect. The hot tub was a great way to relax and a long day and really love the jacuzzi tub after a morning spent zip lining at The Gorge - A Canopy Zipline Tour. Something I never thought I would do but so glad I did! We truly enjoyed our week there just wish it could have been longer. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for an inviting place to stay.

What a great place to spend a week! Our family, including 2 teens, loved everything about the property. Fishing, relaxing on the porch, having a fire for s'mores in the fire pit, lounging in the hot tub, and having everything we needed in the house was great! We zip lined, rafter, hiked several beautiful parks, explored several towns, and enjoyed the area in general. Several days our kids wanted to fish and hang out at the house. Thanks for providing a wonderful retreat! We hope to return.

Really terrific, clean place!

My family, including a toddler, stayed at Mallard Manor this past weekend. The setting is delightful. Big wide porch overlooking a finger of a lake. We brought our kayaks, but to get them down to the water would have been almost impossible. Very steep down there, but still you could easily walk down there and fish. Appointed very well and very clean. Kitchen outfitted to a T. No air conditioning, but not a problem. Extremely comfortable, very quiet.
