Clean, Well Furnished,And A True Mountain Cabin

5 of 5
To get to this cabin you go through a private gated entrance and up a "switch back" road to almost the top of the mountain...this cabin is literally at the very end of the road. It has a commanding view of the town and surrounding mountains and forest and if you are looking for privacy and a truly secluded and private getaway this cabin is it. It was the cleanest cabin I have stayed at and it is well appointed with all the modern amenities such as Internet, satellite TV, DVD players, and plenty of books and games. There were plenty of towels, blankets, and the owners even left us fresh cookies. The jacuzzi was spotless with fresh water and was perfectly placed with a million dollar view with a nice waterfall next to it. The owner, Tom and Sue, get a perfect rating for the best customer service I have ever experienced. They followed up quickly before the reservation and answered all of my questions over the phone, talked us through the directions for getting there, gave a great personal tour, and followed up to make sure everything was perfect...you cannot find better or more personal customer experience. They even had material printed and organized at the house highlighting the events in the area along with personal recommendations for restaurants. I have to share the restaurant, The Admiral, located in Asheville. It is a complete "hole in the wall" from the outside and looks like a biker bar, but the food is of the same quality and caliber as a 5-star restaurant...you will not regret eating there but be warned that reservations are required and very difficult to get. I rent many homes for vacations and this is the real deal, exactly as described, and the owners were wonderful.

Great property for a beach vacation!

5 of 5
Very much appreciated the house! We were here in the winter, and it was very much appreciated that the heater worked well, the water was hot, and the property was obviously cared about. Larry was a very thoughtful owner and called to check in on us, which was very much appreciated. The king bed I slept in on the first floor was very comfortable, and I appreciated having a vanity desk to blow dry my hair. My only regret was that I didn't stay longer! Thanks again for a lovely stay!

Amazing Time for Entire Family

5 of 5
Our entire family of 10 had an amazing weekend staying at Dancing Falls Lodge. The house was huge so it gave each couple their own space when needed during the stay. We were able to cook all meals at the house as the kitchen has everything you could need to prepare any meal. The views from the deck and hot ton were amazing each day. We definitely took advantage of the foosball and pool table downstairs each night with some tournaments. It was a little cold during our stay but we were still able to play golf on Saturday afternoon while the ladies enjoyed the Spa at the Resort Wellness Center. The Wellness Center is an awesome benefit as we were down there multiple times to play pickleball, basketball and putt putt. Laurie and Tom were great with communication and any family would love this house for a weekend getaway or week long trip. Thanks so much. Hope to do it again this fall.
