Delightful!

What a wonderful place to stay! We needed a place nearby Bakersville to visit my brother's family for the holidays. My parents, my son and I stayed very comfortably in this house, including sharing the large bathroom! The cottage is decorated so beautifully and everything we needed was there. Some of the nicest touches were that basics such as toilet paper, paper towels, clean towels, hand soap and dish soap were there when we arrived after dark on 12/30. My dad is quite the chef and he found everything he could want or need in the great kitchen. The fabulous dining room table allowed 5 adults and 2 kids to have great family meals! The outside is just wonderful even in December. The deck over the creek/waterfall was my 5 year old son's favorite - as we loaded the car to leave he went back "to say goodbye to the waterfall". Lots of yard/running around space for kids and we'd definitely come back when the weather is nicer for outside time! Thanks so much for making our family holiday time comfortable and fun!

Warm, quiet mountain cabin

5 of 5
My husband and I loved staying at the Coexist Cottage! The cabin was easy to find and very clean and is located within a reasonable driving distance to many local attractions (hiking, skiing, etc). It was so wonderful returning to the warm cabin after a long day of hiking. Our dog especially enjoyed the creek behind the cabin and his own personal bed inside. The closest Walmart-type store is about 30-35 minutes away, so be sure to grab all your groceries on your way in (there are smaller country stores nearby). Overall, we would highly recommend this cabin to any friend. Reservations, access, and check-out were all so easy and pain-free!

AWESOME!

5 of 5
Our family has found the perfect get-away we so badly need from time to time! Creekside Cottage has been such a blessing through the years. We have celebrated birthdays, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, and "just because" weekends at this amazing, cozy cottage. Fishing in the stocked pond, wading in the singing creek that surrounds the property, walks, waterfalls, or just cuddling by the fire with a good book are what we love about going there. The cottage has everything we need, and is always clean. We look forward to going back again.
