Awesome place in awesome city with awesome people

                                5 of 5
Our stay at the Biltmore Studio was awesome. Location was close to everything. Close to local art shops, pubs, restaurants, and parks. The only time we drove was to the Biltmore Estate, Chimney Rock, and Whitewater Rafting. You don't have to hop in a car to get a good meal. Huge plus is there is off street parking in well it area. Never felt unsafe in area. Although we didn't spend a great deal at the studio, the time we did spend there was above accommodating. Everything was super clean and the studio had a nice zing to it. Decor was not outdated. Very welcoming. Bed slept well and did not sag. Bathroom was super clean. Although we ate out much of the time since we wanted to explore the local cuisine, everything needed was there to cook. Although the studio is in the heart of everything, street noise was minimal if at all. I will say I had no problems sleeping. AC was cool. No problems there either. Bernie communicated well prior to arrival to welcome us and gave us recommendations. Being a foodie, I researched quite a bit before visiting but many of the restaurants we put on the list to visit were on Bernie's. I recommend White Duck Taco Shop (best tacos I have ever ate - tried Korean BBQ tacos, Lamb Gyro tacos, Crunchy shrimp tacos, fish tacos, black bean tacos, Steak and cheese tacos, all two thumbs up), Wicked Weed for Beer - some of the best beer in Asheville, Tupelo Honey Cafe (venerated vegetable plate was great), Early Girl Eatery (great for breakfast), Sunny Point Cafe (great for breakfast too (this is more like a drive - 8 minute drive), the Admiral (drive but well worth it - dive that puts out 5 star dishes in West Asheville, 8 minute drive, this where local go), High Five Coffee (top notch coffee with super awesome baristas - this is coming from myself who was a barista for 3 years), and the French Broad Chocolate Lounge which is great pastry/desert and coffee joint - lattes and coffee are great too. We visited the Biltmore Estate - we spent about 2 hours but you could spend more time if desirable. Visit Chimney Rock for a nice hike and view. Nice waterfall here as well. Whitewater rafted with French Broad Rafting and Ziplines. We did the 5 mile trip which is mainly class 2 and 3 rapids. My wife had never been rafting before and had a blast. Nice rapids but still able to enjoy the scenery with a nice adventure. The guides are great. Visit St. Lawrence Basilica as well. We did the Asheville Wine and Food Fest - fun times. Will be back to studio

Charming 1BR suite with fantastic view

                                5 of 5
The Holden suite is a great location for touring around the Maggie Valley area. The decor is simply charming and has everything you could possibly need for a short get-away or longer visit. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. Lots of books and information on the area and key touring spots. This suite is located in the basement of their home and offers privacy along with an awesome view from the spacious deck right outside the suite. The ability to grill is a plus for folks who like to manage their own meals (charcoal and lighter fluid provided!). The sunrise is just spectacular here! Highly recommend!

                                Quiet Little Hideaway!

                                5 of 5
Quiet little cabin away from it all. Just enough for two people. Very clean and comfortable. Would recommend for a weekend getaway!
