SEPTEMBER 2014

5 of 5
The home is exactly what you see in the pictures - absolutely beautiful. The owners thought of everything - the home was stocked with everything you might need during your stay. The road to the home is a thrill in itself. It is breathtaking with cows on one side, a creek along the road and llamas at the neighbors. The view from the home is amazing - beautiful mountains. There were 4 couples in our group. We all had our own space and never felt cramped. We were not at the home very much. We were out and about every day - from Deals Gap to Chimney Rock to Saluda. The neighboring communities are just as beautiful. It was refreshing to come home at the end of each day to a beautiful home.

Perfect Getaway!

5 of 5
We had a great time at Chateau De Vue in early November 2012. The house is in a beautiful setting with great views, plenty of room and a game room to entertain the teenagers. You can definitely see the attention to detail the owners have put into the decorating and furnishings (they have great taste). Waking up to the views of the mountains while being close enough to visit Ashville and the quaint town of Black Mountain provided many choices for activities in the area. In short: if you are looking for a quiet, wonderful place with plenty of room: go there as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

Christmas in the mountains

4 of 5
We had a great time. We also were celabrating our 37Th wedding anniversary. The atv was fun. We walked and rode the atv. The dogs loved it. The home was very nice. We would like to come up again this summer. We did run out of fuel for heat on Christmas but there were space heaters and a fire place so it was comfy. The day after Christmas we had no water that was not so comfy but we made do. I wish I could have cleaned better but with no water and a vacuum it was hard.
