Beautiful condo in downtown Hendersonville.

4 of 5
The Crystal Palace is within walking distance to beautiful historic downtown Hendersonville. We play bridge and the very active Hendersonville Bridge Club is a short block away on level ground. The ABC store is in the next block and two large well-stocked supermarkets are within a minute's drive away. The condo is located on the second and third floors of the building with the hot tub accessed from the back bedroom on the third floor. Inside the secured building is an elevator from the garage to the second floor. Once inside the living area there is an eighteen-step carpeted stairway that leads to the beautifully-appointed sleeping area on the third floor. The hot tub worked perfectly and was one of the highlights of our stay. When we were there it was quite chilly in the evening, so dipping into a 102-degree hot tub before climbing into bed was very enjoyable. The beds were luxurious, the rooms dark and we heard no outside traffic which made sleeping wonderful. The bathrooms were elegantly furnished, the kitchen stocked with every possible utensil. Internet access was available and fast. The property was clean as could be when we arrived and obviously well-maintained. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. We were a little disappointed with the Theater Room in that the television did not have digital service and the station selection was limited. An adjustment to the sound system also needs to be done. The chairs in the room were very comfortable. We didn't have a chance to test the movie screen; all-in-all a very compact and well-designed Theater Room. We would definitely recommend this condo for your stay in the Hendersonville area.

Wonderful condo in the mountains

5 of 5
We are a young family of 4 from the beaches of northwest Florida and we wanted to get away for some late season skiing. I searched for days on-line trying to find and affordable place to stay that wasn't to expensive and wasn't a hotel room. I found this condo and thought there must be a trick or some hoops to jump through. I e-mailed the owner and with-in an hour or so I had a response and the rate details and I mailed a check that afternoon. We arrived after a 9 1/2!!! hour car trip with my 6 year old girl and my 8 year old boy and were thrilled with the condo. The place was practically empty so we were able to park on the top tier of parking lot right next to the breezeway which made our unloading very simple. The front desk guard was a joy to deal with and we were handed the key and told to have a great stay. Now, we have stayed at some very upscale resorts and as advertised this is not exactly one of them. The building is dated but it adds to the charm of the mountain experience. The condo is older but was stocked very well with dishes, pots and pans, silverware, some paper towels and the like. I say this only because a lot of places say that they have a "fully stocked kitchen" only to mean that they have a kitchen with 3 or 4 plates and some silverware but very little to cook with. Not the case here, all that we needed to prepare meals was there except the gorceries. The new leather couch was wonderful and the view was spectacular. You look right out of your windows and view the top of Sugar Mountain. The bunk beds worked great for my children and the fireplace was a wonderful touch. A word of caution that I knew from other research but that you might want to know...there is no A/C only heat but we never needed it as it never got to 60 degrees on top of the mountain. The condo is a bit dated but we didn't mind because I didn't feel like I had to tell my children all day every day to be careful to not do this or that. It was perfectly fine with my wife and I. Also, I don't know if it was just because there were very few people there or not but the typical condo you can hear people above you or around you when they get up and walk around, etc. but I never heard anyone else and I didn't have anyone complain about my children who have a tendency to walk "heavy-footed". All in all it was a wonderful time and the condo just added to the fun. Thank you to Denise for a great place to stay that didn't break the bank and provided a relaxing environment.

Delightful place!

5 of 5
We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy condo. It was very clean and updated. The owners went out of their way to make sure our needs were taken care of. It is an easy walk to the downtown area and an easy drive to many attractions. We will definitely plan another trip soon.
