A SIMPLY LOVELY FARM EXPERIENCE FOR FAMILIES

5 of 5
From the moment we arrived until the moment we left -- we could not have asked for a better farm experience with our children. Our children (and the adults) enjoyed gathering eggs from the hen house in the morning, grooming the donkeys throughout the day and chasing fireflies together in the pasture every night. The farm is close enough to enjoy all that Brevard and the surrounding area has to offer -- and still enjoy mornings and coming home to all that the farm has to offer in the afternoons and evenings. Renee has created a home away from home for anyone interested in living the "farm life" for a weekend or for an extended family vacation. The house has three bedrooms, each with a full bath. Each room is comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed the rocking chairs on the porch for morning coffee and the fire pit out back for making s'mores after dinner. We highly recommend Fodderstack Farm. Many thanks to Renee for a lovely stay.

A QUAINT GETAWAY

5 of 5
It was a perfect girls' weekend getaway. The woodstove, to the snow, to the decor, to kitchen table where we all gathered. It was everything we wanted.

AMAZING VACATION! AMAZING GET AWAY!

5 of 5
I have to start by saying WOW! Pictures could never do this place justice. This was our very first time renting a home. Someone else's home. So we had no idea what to expect. The owners of the property were extremely helpful and kind. They made sure all our questions were answered and that all are needs were met. The house is MAGNIFICENT! A true gem hidden away in a small town. Every detail and comfort was thought of. The huge vaulted ceilings the two sided fire place. The love and care that is put into this home is evident. You can't help but feel at home. To look out the window and see a herd of cattle is indescribable and it is quite amusing how when you walk down the path they stare at you quite intensely. We were a family of 13 ranging in age from 60+ to 7 every single one of us had a phenomenal time. If you want to just get away, disconnect, relax and take in the outdoor this is your spot. We will definitely be back. Oh and where else can you go and see a baby calf be born right in front of you? AMAZING!!!
