Fantastic vacation spot!

5 of 5
Nags Head Haven was the perfect house for our fall family vacation. South Nags Head is a great location, with grocery stores and outlets just a few minutes away. We enjoyed dinner at Owens Restaurant and had drinks at the Outer Banks Pier. The house is nicely decorated and makes it feel like a ‘home away from home’ vs a rental house. And it’s kid friendly and comes with a high chair and pack n’play. The bedrooms are spacious and mattresses were very comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to produce wonderful meals. We liked the availability of the 2nd refrigerator on the first floor, near the front door, we were able to store extra drinks and food for the week. The keyless entry was a bonus; we didn’t have to worry about picking up and dropping off the keys at a rental office or worry about who had the keys. Everyone could come and go as they wished. It rained a couple of the days while we were there, so the cable and high speed internet were much appreciated. I had to work a couple of the days and enjoyed the desk area in our bedroom and quietness it offered while the rest of the family enjoyed the house or went out on an adventure. Even though we were there in the off-season, we enjoyed the beach too. Our girls took their sand toys and had a blast! The great room on the top floor offered amazing views of the ocean and Roanoke sound from inside and outside on the wrap around deck. We enjoyed the deck for morning coffee, a quick afternoon nap and the hot tub at night while watching the stars. Even with a house full, the layout is spacious and well organized. You can join everyone in activities or find yourself a quiet space to relax, like the hammock on the back deck. Even in the off-season there were plenty of activities for our girls. The Wright Brothers Museum, the Island Farm on Manteo, etc. Communicating with the owner was very simple through the Homeaway website and he was quick to respond and provide answers to all of our questions. We look forward to planning our next stay at Nags Head Haven!

Perfect location and plenty of space

4 of 5
This is one of he cleanest places we've rented in Nags Head. The floor plan is excellent and it feel much more spacious than you might think. The view cannot b be beat! The condo is well-maintained and thoughtfully laid out and decorated. It was nice to meet Mark on the beach one day and we appreciated his dinner recommendations! The wifi was spotty but seems to be a provide issue. It was also a real bonus to have linens provided, really lightened our packing load. The location also is superior, you can walk to Jennette's and Cahoon's market and everything else is right nearby. Our 7 year old also really enjoyed the pool, this is a great option for when the little ones have had enough sand and sun. Also very family friendly. Highly recommended!
