Fantastic Pad at a Fantastic Location

5 of 5
This is a fabulous hideaway from the hustle and bustle of downtown Asheville or any city. Our first night we grilled out and made use of the hot tub. Saturday morning we went to Dupont State Park that Grace had recommended. We packed a lunch to have as a picnic which turned out well. The weather was great and the waterfalls were beautiful. We stopped by Oskar Blues Brewery (another recommendation by Grace). The flight of beer had a nice wide selection. They have an outdoor patio that is excellent for chilling and drinking. We ate dinner downtown Asheville at Cúrate. I love Spanish food and my wife is from Spain so it reminded her of home. It was splendid dealing with Grace. She is very knowledgeable and her recommendations are worth listening to. Thanks again Grace.

Peaceful mountain retreat

5 of 5
We spent an incredibly relaxing week at Horseshoe house and can't wait to return. The house is tastefully furnished, exceptionally clean, and very well stocked with everything you'll need but groceries. In the kitchen you'll find everything you need to make the most elaborate meal or you can just fire up the grill and cook out. The layout is very spacious for a couple and perfect for a family with the master bedroom and bath on one end and the other two bedrooms and bathroom at the other. Two patios offer lots of outdoor sitting space. During cool nights, the hot tub is a perfect place to star gaze and enjoy a glass of wine. We loved the soft green grass surrounded by towering trees full of birds. The house is close to many hiking trails with waterfalls, fishing streams, restaurants, and shops, but far enough away for complete relaxation. We had great communication with the property owner and have plans to return. We'd recommend this jewel of a house for anyone looking for some relaxation in the mountains of beautiful North Carolina.
