Lovely and Relaxing Stay

5 of 5
I have rented many places through VRBO/HomeAway and this was one of the best! The apartment is part of the main home but has a separate entrance and I felt it was very private. The place inside was beautiful with many nice touches and extras you don't usually see in a vacation rental. The bed was very comfortable! The small farm was an added bonus and I loved watching the animals as I sat out on the back deck. The owner was present in the main home during my stay. She respected my privacy but I enjoyed engaging her in conversation on the area and the farm. She made sure I knew to contact her for any needs, but I didn't have any. I am a hiker so I enjoyed hiking (and visiting) in the Hot Springs and Max Patch areas. Going the other direction I liked the town of Weaverville, and especially love the Stoney Knob Café. Asheville is also an easy drive. The house is located near enough to the main road for convenience but far enough away that you feel "away from it all". I plan to go back again and I would certainly recommend this place.

We had the most relaxing vacation ever...

5 of 5
We wanted a getaway where we could relax from the hustle of work and where our 2 dogs could enjoy the outdoors. We found all that and more. The home was large and roomy and the porch was the perfect place for our dogs to relax and listen to nature from the morning to the evening. We enjoyed long walks with our dogs and they were able to see animals that they have never seen before. The owners were very kind in checking to make sure we had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. If you are looking for a true getaway this is the ideal place to come and enjoy quality time with your family. We truly loved our stay and we hope to go back again. Judy Getty - Raleigh NC

Perfect Cabin, Perfect Location

5 of 5
The cabin was clean and tidy and well furnished. The location was great and exactly what I was looking for-- a halfway point between Asheville and Hot Springs. We hiked the Laurel River Trail while we were there that's just outside of Hot Springs, which was great with kids because we stopped a bunch to swim. The hot tub in the cabin was lovely, although because we had kids, we turned it down during our stay so the 6 year olds could enjoy it. Across the street from the cabin is a little creek that made for great crayfish catching and salamander searching! The beds were comfy and linens were very nice! We will be back!
