Great House, just not a true 6 bedroom house

4 of 5
The house was perfect for a family (14 total people) get together to celebrate Christmas. Nice big family room which is open to the dining room. However, it really is only 4 bedrooms. What they are considering the other two bedrooms are a loft type room with exercise equipment, a futon and no door and a sunroom with a pullout couch...so as long as you don't need 6 actual bedrooms, you're good. Beautiful backyard and landscaping/hardscaping!

10 of us stayed here 10 of us enjoyed this place

4 of 5
There were 10 of us that recently stayed here for the nascar race at lowes motor speedway and we loved the setting in the woods. It was a peaceful setting although had we had more time there would have been a few of us that would have gone fishing. Looked like there are some large fish in lake norman! Plenry of room in this house for all 10 of us to roam. Not all of us were cat lovers but I thoroughly enjoyed the two neighborhood cats that would visit us . They didnt beg for food there was a gentleman there to feed them every other day.had no problems with anything in the house although I will admit the people who clean could do a better job of basic cleaning we would stay here again. And yes we did see a couple of "rolly pollies" as they were called but given the setting of the house in the woods and info from locals they are pretty normal to see in that area kind of like spiders in michigan, and we did only see 2 and they were half dead. Truth be told staying here was 3 times better than a hotel!

Perfect Place

5 of 5
Dear Brent- I wanted to e-mail you personally and tell you what a great time we had at the house. We consist of Charlie and I (two widows married just over a year ago) my three children (a nurse 25, a Marine 22, and a college student 20) Charlie's 4 children (an art exec for a newspaper in Arizona, and his wife an editor and their daughter aged 2, his son a teacher in India, his son a book binder, his daughter a mom of 2 kids 2 and 2 months, her husband a computer program designer). We are quite an eclectic group and there was something for everyone!!!! We swam ourselves silly, visited until all hours, ate ourselves sick and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Your beautiful home made every bit of it so very comfortable and charming. Your assistants who keep the place for you couldn't have been any nicer or more accommodating. I just want to thank you again. We hope to do the same thing very soon. Thanks again, Cindy
