Heavenly Place to Rest and Play

                    5 of 5
My family of 4 (kids 10 and 18) spent 4 days at Stone Cottage this summer. It is one of the best places we have stayed and we are a traveling family. The accommodations were beyond expectations! The cottage is absolutely beautiful inside and out and all you need to pack are your clothes and a few groceries... everything else is available just like a home. Spring Creek is right off the deck and it is an incredible view. The sound of the creek is nice while sleeping. And my son and husband spent hours playing and swimming there. The hot tub on the deck is very large and NICE! We hope to visit this place again soon. Karen and Pete (the owners) were great to deal with for reservations and throughout our stay. They live next door to the cottage but it is not an inconvenience at all. Hot Springs is a short walk from the cottage and you can enjoy hiking, shopping and restaurants. We never got in our cars again until it was time to leave. I would highly recommend this property to friends and relatives.

                    Very Relaxing !!

As a first timer to this area I really did not know what to expect. I was more than pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the cabin. The views were soothing and the inside of the cabin was beautiful and clean. We wanted peaceful and serene and thats exactly what we got!! We were able to go to the Waynesville (35min) 4th of July parade and experience small town America. It was so wonderful, the people are truly one of a kind. Waynesville has everything you need during a stay in these parts of North Carolina. All of the amenities in the cabin worked perfectly. The Wi-Fi was there for a little work when needed and the grill came in handy on the 4th of July. Kim (agent) was very helpful in many ways during our stay. The only thing I would change would be to stay longer!!

Exactly what we were looking for!

We can't say enough good things about Creek Side Cabin. It was everything we expected and so much more. The cabin was adorable, clean and in outstanding condition. Even the yard was immaculately maintained! The artwork were all original pieces and simply amazing! Bill and Liz were so kind and obviously cared about the company in the cabin, which was very comforting. We enjoyed nightly fires with our two small children and our Lakeland terrier. The cows in the pasture in front provided (quite and a non-smelly) entertainment all day long while listening to the the creek. The mountain view was stunning (especially in the morning). A million fireflies provided the kids something extra to collect (and release) while the sun was setting. The creek was a lot of fun to explore, cool off and fish. My husband actually caught a large enough trout for a couple of bites enjoyed by all. Make sure to check out Bill and Liz's home studios. Being someone that crafts at home, I especially enjoyed the tour and talent! Also, drive up to Max Patch for an unbelievable 360 degree view of the surrounding mountains! I don't think I've ever seen something more gorgeous in nature! Thank you again, Bill and Liz for allowing us to have an amazing vacation that I know won't soon be forgotten. We look forward to visiting soon!
