Great location with beautiful views

5 of 5
We enjoyed our long weekend at this condo. It's close to App State and Boone, NC. The condo was clean and well stocked. The gas fireplace made it toasted! We were there for the first snow so we didn't use the deck but it had a nice view of the mountain. I liked that we had no stairs going in too! Check-in and out was smooth. Highly recommend it!

Very Nice Condo

4 of 5
This was a very nice condo on top of Sugar Mountain, North Carolina. Honestly, I would probably rate it a 4.5 if I could, because it was close to perfect. The pros: very nice place, well equipped with any amenity you would need. The fireplace and the balcony view were great. The location was great, and even though you have to shuttle to your car, they have a good system for doing this. The only cons I have were a) it would be better to get feedback once the landlord has received payment. I felt like I had to reach out to verify that we even rented the place, and there never was any contract or information sent to us before we arrived about policies, etc. b) there was a distinct odor when you first walked in the condo that I couldn't figure out. It wasn't overbearing, and you get over it quickly, but I could see how some people would get put off by that. There's carpet everywhere, so a good carpet cleaning would probably fix that problem. I'm stretching to get those problems, it was otherwise a great place, and as good as advertised.
