The cabin was very nice and worth every penny for the 2 night get the 3rd night free deal! It was only 10-15 minutes from Franklin. You can find some nice antiuqing, grocery/gas, a wells fargo, and some local pub/coffee shops. It was pretty cool. The nitty gritty for our (My wife, myself, and another couple) trip, aside from the isolation of a cabin, was hiking. We hiked the Bartram Trail two days in a row and it was awesome! White rock mountain has amazing views and it takes about 45min to drive to the trailhead. On the approach drive we saw an amazing waterfall that has a trail all the way down, take it! The cabin had a great jacuzzi and other amenities. One of the four critiques I would offer would be to make sure the blue ray DVD player and all the other equipment is fully functioning. It did not work for us and I had purposely rented a blue ray DVD for this trip, not a big deal. Naturally we adapted and ended up playing apples for apples which was provided by the cabin owners, amongst other games. That was fun! The second critique would be to have or let us know we needed trash bags, not a big deal. The third critique I would offer would be to have curtain holdbacks for all the windows! The view is great and I want to be able to see out at all times. Of course I managed to find ways to keep the curtains back so again not a big deal. Lastly I would critique the layout of the patio furniture. The main outdoor couch sits in front of the french doors, naturally I moved everything, in order to have access from the living room to the porch. You do have access to the porch from the "front"/side door but this is a problem when it's a little rainy (our first night) because it's in-between two roofs (may want to do something about that) so all the water pours down right there and in my opinion inhibits (you get rained on) the usage/enjoyment of the patio. All of the aforementioned are very minor issues but something I wanted to mentioned in order to really take this cabin to near perfection!
