Just lovely!

5 of 5
My young adult daughters and I came here for a few days. It was lovely. The condo is clean, bright, and makes you feel happy when you walk in. The view from the deck is wonderful and waking up in the master bedroom each morning with the sun rising over the ocean was a wonderful way to start the day. Loved being right next to Ft. Fisher.

Great place to stay in a beautiful Beaufort

5 of 5
Our stay at the Lighthouse Cottage was fantastic. The cottage itself is perfect with everything you need to be comfortable and have a good time. The location is perfect and a short walk to the waterfront and the many shops & restaurants. The use of the bikes makes exploring beautiful Beaufort fun and easy. We thoroughly enjoyed staying and hope we can come back again for another visit. Good restaurants we visited included The Spouter Inn, Finz, Old Salt, Blue Moon and over in Moorehead City, The Ruddy Duck. It is also fun to take an inexpensive and short boat ride over to either Carrot Island to see the horses or Bird Shoal to look for shells and sand dollars. Regardless of which restaurants you eat in or things you do you will have a great time staying at the Lighthouse Cottage and visiting Beaufort.

Nice spot for beach access

4 of 5
We were three older women looking for a beach getaway and this unit fit all of our needs: beachfront, located close to other activities and to Wilmington, enough beds to go around, covered balcony on the second floor with parking. The unit was clean, had new appliances and everything worked properly. The manager responded quickly to our first questions about getting the cable and the washer to work, even showing up promptly on a Friday night after our arrival. Only a few minor glitches to mention: kitchen could have been a little better stocked with sandwich plates, bowls and cooking utensils and the parking was a little difficult because the narrow exit lanes around the unit are extremely tight. Otherwise, no complaints.
