My family and I had a wonderful week at Thrush cottage. We had plenty of room for the four of us and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the privacy and the back deck was amazing. We enjoyed the two fishing piers as we did alot of fishing and actually caught fish. Thanks so much for sharing your lovely cottage with us.

Great place to stay in a beautiful Beaufort

5 of 5
Our stay at the Lighthouse Cottage was fantastic. The cottage itself is perfect with everything you need to be comfortable and have a good time. The location is perfect and a short walk to the waterfront and the many shops & restaurants. The use of the bikes makes exploring beautiful Beaufort fun and easy. We thoroughly enjoyed staying and hope we can come back again for another visit. Good restaurants we visited included The Spouter Inn, Finz, Old Salt, Blue Moon and over in Moorehead City, The Ruddy Duck. It is also fun to take an inexpensive and short boat ride over to either Carrot Island to see the horses or Bird Shoal to look for shells and sand dollars. Regardless of which restaurants you eat in or things you do you will have a great time staying at the Lighthouse Cottage and visiting Beaufort.

Wonderful beach home in a quiet setting

5 of 5
My family was gathering for a wedding in Oak Island, NC and I wanted to find something more than a motel room, so I could bring my elderly parents down for a nice family oriented weekend. The owners were very easy to work with, from the start of the process, and were very responsive and accommodating. When we arrived we found a very clean and comfortable dwelling, with all of the comforts of home. It was nestled into a very nice neighborhood, with lots of sidewalks for taking morning and evening strolls and was very quiet. It was a very good experience, and my family and I would consider staying here again in the future. One area of improvement feedback would be to expand the cable channel offerings to include more viewing options and possibly install TV's in the bedrooms, as everyone had to watch the same channel. Great Weekend!
